How often do you get quoted here?

I don't get quoted unless I'm wrong or asked a question normally. The only other times are when someone says I can't like something that they don't like.

Used to be quoted a lot because (as smug as I may sound saying this) I used to be one of the more 'recognizable' people on the boards. Then after nearly a year of being gone hardly anyone knows me or read my posts.

Hopefully I can get that status back with the refitting of Tiem magazine and my projects.

Anyway, I get quoted reasonably frequently, because I often spout the viewpoint that isn't supported. Coming on to the Escapist and saying you support Bobby Kotick isn't exactly going to win you favour, more like a legion of angry people telling you exactly why you're wrong.

Sometimes I get quoted because people agree with me though. That's nice.

Not so often, every 10 posts maybe. But then that post will get quoted a couple of times. Very rarely get anything negative though. Usually just agreeing with something I've said or making me feel awesome.

Not that often to be honest. The only time I usually get quoted is from a forum game because I am having a conversation with someone but other then that I very rarely get quoted. But random people have started to PM me for some reason recently, I guess I am just an interesting person

Maybe because you have the best Avatar on the Escapist, Nay, the world! (But thats just my opinion)

OT: I get quoted more often than I should to be honest (About 1 every 3 or 4 posts), I'm not exactly a very interesting person but damnit I do support my views with hard facts or valid opinions, so its mainly either people challenging me, agreeing with me, or just developing on them a bit more.

I'm new, so in my one and a half days on here I've never been quoted. Probably because of the lack of time I've been on here and lack of noteworthy comments.

I've been quoted 50 times so far, so that's about once every 5.42 posts, though that might be slightly offset by a thread in which I was quoted 14 times, being thoroughly corrected for basing my opinion of a topic on incorrect information in the article I'd commented on. Seems I'm only ever quoted when people need more help in advice topics, or to point out that I'm incorrect (or to berate my subjective opinion).

I can only hope that this means unwavering agreement the rest of the time, though it's probably due to nobody reading my posts, which is unfortunate as I'd like to feel that I'm usually contributing to a thread and not simply wasting my time. This place could probably benefit from a like button, or some other form of quick and easy feedback, but out of public view so to not encourage like whores.

every once in a blue moon. unless i post in a more "controversial" kind of topic on here where someone disagrees with something i say. or unless one of my mate's decides to start randomly quoting me and diverting the topic into our own conversation. four or five times a day, I think it comes down how much you post and how many of your post are on the first page of a thread
