When I was in university I would study for about 4 hours a day, for the 3 days prior to the exam.

EDIT:

When I was in High School I hardly ever studied.

Arghguubllebblegh. With chocolate whipped cream, please.

I study only when I have few Spanish classes in a week. Other times, only for exams.*

*- Not because I'm lazy. It's just that this year 60% of my school time is Spanish.

Only when i want a promotion.

Unless I go back for that last year and get my masters. Which will cost a lot of damn money and time and do me pretty much nothing in this field.

I would postulate that you need to pay more attention or study more for English class.

step 1: tell people im gonna study

step 2: flip through books

step 3: decide i dont know how to study

step 4: do nothing until the exam and wing it

dont follow my steps o_O they only work if your really lucky
seriously though, i rarely studied because i had no idea how, i'd only study if all my friends got together for a study session thingie XD

In high school I didn't study at all, but now I spend a night before exam reading and making notes.
It's not even enough to pass some exams, but I'm too lazy to do something about it :(

Can't study, have never been able too, for my Leaving Cert(final exams in secodary school/high school, if you dont do well you don't get your college course) I tried endlessly to study, but the best I could get was an hour the night before. Even spent an entire weekend organising my notes, I had a pile up past my waist, spend the entire weekend organising them by subject and topic, never looked at any of them ever again.

Now that I am in college its even worse, I have an xbox, laptop in my room, and I found whole new ways to pass time like digg and the escapist, random stuff, procrastinating becomes way easyier, hell I bring my laptop to class and go on the escapist when I should be listening. I should be studying for my exams next week, but no I am here, writing this crap.

So basically my study plan is as follows, plan to study, dont study, dont study some more, play games, dont study, realise I am past the point of no return, look at a few notes and boom the exam is already done and I just scraped a pass.

Brutal cycle but sure fuck it.

I almost never study... I only study when it's for a test I probably wouldn't pass with studying. You only have to pass. The difference between an A and a B is never a life changing one.

Finals coming up... aiming for 8hrs a day. It's usually a bit less, but still should be enough to get me through...

Pretty much this, except I would cram the 12 hours in 2 days prior. I never have any feeling of "I NEED to study this instant", until the test is so close and I realize i skipped too many classes and know nothing.
