Never have, don't really plan on it. Pot's bad enough as it is, I don't really need tobacco in my lungs too.

Personally, I'd rather lick a street.
That goes for ALL types of smoking, weed included.
(Smoking weed is actually 3-5 times worse than regular smoking)
You got evidence to back that up? I'm been told/read the opposite several times before. They stuff cigarettes full of chemicals. Even if it's true, most people wouldn't smoke weed anywhere near as much as cigarettes.

Mostly natural plant is somehow worse than chemically altered tobacco with about a million other chemicals mixed in?

What source are you getting this 3-5 times worse stuff from?

"Smoking marijuana can cause significant health problems. Marijuana contains more than 400 chemicals, of which 60 are cannabinoids. Smoking a marijuana cigarette deposits about three to five times more tar into the lungs than one filtered tobacco cigarette.
Consequently, regular marijuana smokers suffer from many of the same health problems as tobacco smokers, such as chronic coughing and wheezing, chest colds, and chronic bronchitis. In fact, studies show that smoking three to four joints per day causes at least as much harm to the respiratory system as smoking a full pack of cigarettes every day.

Marijuana smoke also contains 50 to 70 percent more carcinogenic hydrocarbons than tobacco smoke and produces high levels of an enzyme that converts certain hydrocarbons into malignant cells."

Weed is smoked unfiltered, leading you to smoke not only the raw plant but also the extra tar that comes with it.

There are also a bunch of other harmful effects of marijuana listed on that site. Such as possible brain damage in long-term users that start when they are young. This can cause slow-mindedness and a lack of motivation in the user.

Also, even though you can't die from it, Marijuana technically IS addictive. The withdrawal symptoms are usually insomnia, anxiety, and a lack of appetite.

I really don't care if weed is legalized or not, but there are lots of health risks to ALL types of drug abuse. They teach this in health class, which is actually a very valuable class to take.

Probably around 20. I didn't start drinking till then and that's the catalyst for any time I smoke. I probably will have 3 or 4 a year if my friends peer pressure me enough. I don't particularly care for cigs but once in a while I want to pretend I'm some hip movie star so I'll take a few drags.

Still haven't at the ripe old age of 25. Not planning to in the future, either.

That said, I have had about one-third of a cigar, shared with two friends on my 21st birthday. I was... underwhelmed.

hmmm never have smoked a cig. I think I wouldve tried one by now (21) if I didnt always have to walk behind smokers on my campus. I'll have my air with a side of carbon monoxide thank you....I swear it's the most annoying thing when people walk and smoke, especially when there's a number of people around them. I've got no problems with ppl who do smoke, but I do have problems with ppl who smoke AND do it in a way that annoys others (eg walking and smoking on a crowded sidewalk). Oh and on the subject of weed, tried it once, won't try it again. Too much coughing and hacking (for me) for what it's not worth (didnt do anything for me).

Cigarette, 18 I think. Preferred the taste of menthol to regular, but since a cigarettes worth of nicotine doesn't stimulate even the faintest noticeable benefit for me, I haven't taken an interest in them.

I've smoked cigars, and the likes of a good robusto is where I notice the benefits of tobacco smoking. So they've become a rare indulgence with a glass of really good whiskey.

First one was June 2nd, 2012, technically the 3rd since it was like 2 or 3 in the morning. My last one ever was about 20-30 minutes after the first one....that is all

I'm 22 and haven't smoked anything so far.

I've always had a strong awareness for the frailty of the human body, and that has led me to be careful with things that would make my life really hard later on.

Around 17, came to university off the back of a bad break. Only smoke about 5 or so a day, one after each meal and a couple more with some cups of coffee because cigarettes and coffee, that's a combination.

Just ask Jim Jarmusch... [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xH6y7lxPmRw]

When I'm drinking though? Wow. Big time smoker. Glass of red wine without a smoke is just not the same.

Dropping it by the time I hit the big 30 or have kids. My 20's are for being reckless.

Hold on there, friend. Given that the THC does damage to your brain cells and inhalation of any smoke is hazardous, I'm still pretty sure that the chemicals in a commercial Cigarette are worse for you. Tar (you know that black shit on your driveway?), Arsenic, chemical Nicotine, and Benzene to name a few.
Not that I want to start a debate, or am in favor of any illegal substances. I just wanted to clear that up.

EDIT - I did find this one article, but please read it, not just the headline. It portrays them as equally bad ideas.

I was probably in the single digits.

I was a regular smoker for about a year when I was still in MS.

Quit in HS and never looked back.
