How original is your username and have you ever run across someone else who is using it?

Mine has no numbers (well, One is a pronoun) and I try to use it everywhere. Only in huge sites, like youtube and photobucket, it'd already been taken.

In that case I just use flaetsbnort, which is based on a nonsense word GameFAQs' spellcheck recognized as valid. That one has never been taken.

Not original at all, I just don't think people care.

At most, I noticed a couple of people using a different version of it in WoW (I stick to similar names), via the armory, which rather irked me as I was thinking about moving to one of said players' servers, but I just went to a different one altogether.

I have a nickname I've used online for about 15 years, which I don't use on forums anymore, but keep it as my email--even on forums, folks don't use it, so the possibility for me is still there.

If you ever see this name there is a 50% chance it is me. I've only run across one other person using it. Some jerk named Tom got it on steam before I broke down and started using it. I have this handle on xbox live and psn though. I was even forced to put numbers behind it on steam though... arg. I don't even know if he got it from the same reference. 40k fans may or may not recognize it though.

I would like to think that it's original. It's an acronym (I think that's it) that I came up with a few years ago.

The astheticks may not be original, but the backstory behind it is. I was playing pool with some of my friends, one had to use the short pool cue cuz there wasn't enough for everyone. He kept beasting with it, and then somewhere in that long night of pool and Halo 3 we started calling it the pwnzerstick.

Well, the only place I've seen my name is when I'm trying to sign up for one of EA's promotions, where I use the wrong e-mail (I've got about five) account, and then my screen-name is locked into a dead-end account and I can't do anything about it. What a waste of promo codes.

Oh, and since nobody ever seems to get it right on Live or when they ask about it in conversation: Sew-duh-salt. Not Saw-duh-salt. It doesn't change the meaning, but I like having a name that isn't all that clumsy to say. The former rolls off the tongue, the latter has to be said as two words and makes whoever's saying it sound stupid.

depending on how many characters a site lets you use for a username, i occasionally have to go with just Rotting which has been taken once or twice. if that's the point i usually just don't bother with the site XD
