The only people who have a hard time saying my name are young kids because Lew part of my name is tough for them to make. My little cousin use to call me Ewis.

I once had somebody read out my name as "Key-mah-roose".

...okay, I really don't care if you pronounce it "Key-mah" or "Kai-mah", but... "ROOSE"? I actually asked the guy back, "Do you say 'danger-roose' instead of 'dangerous', or 'cal-loose' instead of 'callous'?" His reply was that of indignant embarrassment.

Kataiser? I've heard... bad stuff...
Kuh-tae-zure (I HATE THAT)
Kat-aizer (Sounds awkward and there's a space there)
Kaz-tyer (What.)
Kat-ar-izer (I repeat: What.)

And far worse.
BTW, correct is "Kuh-ty-zer"

Stephen, the "phe" make a "v" sound not an "f" sound, people call me "stefan" and I always immediately and not politely correct them.

My last name, Hawley (holly, like that plant), used to have some pronunciation issues. I've had howl-lee mostly but the worst is a letter my dad got that had our last name as Hollis.

Bryn =/= Bryan, Byrne or Byron, nor is it short for Bryndon, Bryncent or Brynith.

When I got into AIT my name got butchered quite a bit by the instructors and the sergeants calling me Darrington.

Doesn't really bother me though, just means I stay under the radar. It's usually a good thing when your NCO's barely know you exist.

EVERYONE messes my real name up. Apparently, transliteration is a concept much too hard for the typical American to grasp.

Whenever I am playing online people always spell and pronounce my name as Candid. Do not know why but it happens a lot.

The first part of my last name is the part that most people fuck up on. They pronounce it "Wi" (as in WiFi) when it's actually pronounced "Wii" (as in...do I really have to say where that's from?)

Jesus Christ, 32,000 posts!?!?! The fuck happened when I was barely posting?
The amount of free time I had jumped quite a bit.
Jeez, I feel so insignificant now. I used to be the person that people feared when they bad mouthed Sony, I used to be a god amongst you men!

Oh, the days when I giggled when people typed my name. Still gives me a weird feeling whenever someone types "Jumplion".

I feel old all of a sudden...

My GT is pjb00 yet people persist in calling pe PJ Boo. It's really not hard to notice that its a zero, not an o.

My last name is Werblun, I have NEVER met a person who has pronounced it correctly, besides friends who I told how to correctly say it. They always say Werblum. I don't know where that M comes from or how they turn the N into an M, but I hate it. Once, in the year book, they actually spelt it Erbium. =(

My friends second name is Butcher. Just saying.

My forum name is often read out as Paladin, which is completely unrelated to what it means. When I made this name (at 11) I had no idea what a Paladin was.

My real name is a fuck load of trouble. Its Irish, so of course, queue on the thousands of mispellings possible.

Conor = Connor, Conner, Connar, Coner, Conar, Konor
Molloy = Molly, Moloy, Molley, Mollay, Mollie, Moleloy

It is pronounced CON - AH MOLE - OI, get it right world.

My real name is Chiké(Pronounced Chee-kay, it's Nigerian... Speaking of which I have an offer you may wanna hear.) I've heard people pronounce it Chike, Chicke, Cheekeekee and other stupid crap. My full first name is actually Chikézié and after that asshole from American Idol let them pronounce his name wrong Everyone started calling me Cha-key-zee (It's actually pronounced Chee-kay-zee-yay)That's my friends who did it to piss me off and people I don't know. I still have to deal with that last one since that name is on all of my official documents...
