How popular do you think you are and what "group" do you hang out with

I conform so hardcore.

People who actively attempt not to conform genuinely end up going nowhere in life except as status icons to their non-conformist friends. When I got my first job at 17 in construction work I put away my Whitesnake t-shirt, cut my shoulder length hair, quit smoking pot and grew a pair of balls so that I could be just like everyone else out there who doesn't want to be their own obstacle to success.

I manage my own contracting company now, I'm 22.
The people I hire don't have long hair and or wear white snake t-shirts.

I'm in a group of people who dislike all the idiots in our school. Some people would call us the nerdy group. I'm one of the few people in the group who would agree with those people.

I'm not popular, but I'm pretty well known. I have friends in almost every group, though my best friends generally reside in the geekier group. But the thing about my school is that it's very non clique-y so everyone can hang with everyone. Except for the mega-popular kids, they only hang with other mega-popular kids. I can be over at my friends house playing Left4Dead for hours, then go off to play football(American) with friends. So I'm a multi-grouper.

No, no I'm not.

And I don't hang out with a group. Just two other outcasts like me, as matter of fact I got both of them on to this site.

Define POPULAR.
if people see you in public do they greet you or turn the other way and run like they've seen jason? jk
but popularity really is a factor that varies from person to person and place to place i just try to think of popularity as is people think your a asshole or not if you are an ass than your not so popular if people think your nice and would want to hang out with you then i guess you are

I'm one of those people that other people talk to at school, but once I leave at the end of the day, nobody really knows I exist... And, every time I get a good friend that actually talks to me outside of school, they move away... :/

The "fuck conformity" group
Technically speaking, since being a non-conformist is the norm amongst young people, the only way to truely be different is to conform (this would make you unique amongst your piers).

I am at the midway point between popularity and apathy, many people know who I am but that's about it. I don't connect myself to any group or style, although I guess that by definition I am a gamer and a nerd/geek (I don't mind how people refer to me).
There are many things I seek, difference is not one of them.
Non-conformity is the desire to not conform to the rules and expectations established by society (which, in simple terms, is wanting to differentiate yourself from the rank and file that makes up the rest of the public).

The Punk style of the 80's (to my knowledge) is where the 'fuck conformity' doctrine began, for them it wasn't just a style or a phase as much as it was a political belief and a philosophy that was unified and identifiable by a look (just as the Goth group has lost most of it's meaning these days due to it's increased popularity, most now just tag along for the look and the impression it gives).

As the iconic perspective of resisting established authority and escaping conformity have become widespread, accepted and popular it has resulted in the odd scenario where people who claim to resist conformity are actually conforming to the roles they are handed more strictly than those who simply conform with the established rules of society (after all, the people who do the latter often do so of their own volition seeing as it is now seen as unpopular and sheepish to do so).

The only way to truely avoid conforming is to conform (a classic catch 22 situation). Be a rugged individualist, just like everyone else.

I'm an utter outcast. I'm like the guy who hides in the corner, except I don't cut myself. I hide there because I'm weird..
