First, don't just add sex for the sake of sex. It really shouldn't just come out of left field for shock value or "maturity" value.

Second, less is more. Of all the "love" sceens i've seen in games so far, they all seem to be awkward, clunky, and inpassionite. Graphics are great now a days, but still they lack, for the most part, facial detail, emontional inflection and body language, all of which is importent. So, don't bother wtih it. Set the sceen with dialog and basic actions then fade to black or pan away and let it be implied. If you look at ME 2, for example, the sceens with Moranda and Jack are awkard and clunky, and unrealistic. The stuff with Tali, where, it's 90% dialog and then they pan away.. it works MUCH better IMO. Stuff like that.

Exactly how Assassins Creed II did or just imply it have the characters give each other "That look" then black out the screen.Honestly Bioware needs to just stop the whole sex scene shit they're not that great at it and just have a kiss and black the shit out.

I don't know, but my opinion is, if you don't know how to, DON'T put them in your game, it'll just feed FOX

Meh as noraml on subject like this I agree with Extra credits- sex in videogames is just creepy and little more than adolescent pandering.

What is could in games is when they replicate they actual emotional aspect of being in a relationship- it kinda freaked me out in DA2 when I had the chat with Merrill after she came to the house.

Press X to not premature ejaculate.

Seriously though, I'd say having the freedom to properly interact rather than being scripted, but that would probably ruin it and make it more a sex sim or sex game if you're actually graded on it. So maybe just cutscenes that you get up to by participating in the foreplay through button presses. Or maybe just implied sex works fine.

I don't like the way witcher did it it portrayed us women like some sort of squicky pokemon game that put me off playign those games forever, but thats just my opinion.

Quick time event! (rofl)

I think Dragon Age has it right, a brief image of the people getting it on then fade to black.

Sex isn't an embrrassment to society. Society is embarrassed of sex. THIS needs to be corrected.
Fuck that!

Sex is just more awesome when you have a social stigma connected to it. It makes it all the more "forbidden" and tasty. This trend where society consider it to be no more special than breathing just makes it dull, uninspiring and uninteresting.

So, the human race should stop reproducing. That makes sense.
Actually, it does make sense. After all, we spend much time and effort to exterminate harmful virus species, yet somehow we do nothing about the most harmful virus of all: Mankind.

So stopping reproduction would actually be more ethical than constantly continue to reproduce until the point where we've consumed our own world and turned it into a barren rock incapable of supporting any life at all (because that's what our species does and certainly doesn't display any pramatic signs of stopping).

Well that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Yup. And what you propose will destroy all the fun about sex for me. Hence I oppose your ideas. It's as simple as that.

Your ideas will make sex no more interesting or special than scratching ones arse. Who'd want sex to turn into something like that?

What's wrong with that? Both men and women do tend to treat their sexual conquests as some kind of ongoing "collection" of sorts as it is.

Of course, few will actually admit to doing i, but that only goes to show how much people indulge in self-deception...

That's a pretty awful way to think about people in my opinion. I certainly don't do that. Eevryone is different though. The card thing in witcher made me feel uncomfortable so I stopped playing those games I'm not tellign anyone else to.

Then again reading your other posts I suspect your a troll so blegh.

That doesn't change the fact that it plays on an already unequal relationship.

A woman who 'collects' men like that is going to get called all kinds of nasty names. She's extremely unlikely to be celebrated for it.

The Witcher's approach made me extremely fucking uncomfortable.

Wow... That coming from the person who criticize others for having an "awful" view of other people. Seems to me that you're pretty shallow too... Just like everyone else...
