Not for height we generally don't. Although you can be forgiven for thinking that, given that we vacillate between the two systems so much, using miles for distance, feet and inches for height but buying food by the gram and... and... I guess we use the metric system for drinks that aren't beer too.Jedoro said:No, US uses foot-inch, UK uses metriccaspertjuhh said:wich countries use the foot-inch measure, actually? I never understand sizes unless they are in meter or centimeter
only UK use foot-inch right?
OT: I'm 5'8"-5'9", somewhere between there (173-175cm)
No, not abnormal in NL because you are officially the tallest people in the world. I'm serious. I'm 6'0" on the button and yours is the only country I visit regularly where I ever feel short. I blame my mum's side of the family with their damn dirty French-Huguenot genes as my dad is of Anglo-Dutch extraction and is almost 2 inches taller than I am.Quid Plura said:190 cm here. Awesome! Someone whose actually shorter than me! (I'm 5', so not by much....)Minjoltr said:4'10" Same height as Queen Victoria.
Yeah, I'm a 6"0 hairy scotsman, India and Japan...here I come...can picture it nowSevre said:6'1", so I'm average height (well depends where you are in the world I suppose). I went to India once a few years back and I towered over everyone, it was great.
