When hollywood (or mankind, due to some experiment gone horribly, horribly wrong) makes up a monster that is actually scary...holy fuck we are so screwed cause plenty of us are desensitized (sp), so when we finally see something actually scary, its gonna be terrifying, and i cant wait to see it.
And no, im not a horror fanatic, i cant even play scary games cause of the damn atmosphere.
Hell, as a kid i was even afraid of the stalfos kids in Ocarina of time xD

I dislike any type of vampire that socializes with humans, I look at them as predators first and foremost, lions don't hang out and seduce zebras.

Stop making googoo eyes with the monster and stake him already.
What worries me is that monsters should represent and be maifestations of our current fears about the world, and edward cullen makes our fear girly romantic.

You know what you don't see enough of? Incubi. It's easy to sexualise a female-looking demon, but I've yet to see someone rise to the same challenge for a masculine version.
