why do PC's always get the cool options?
Also, how do you shoot a gun in Left 4 Dead? This is the PC version, I'm kind of having problems with it, I already tried the W,S and T keys and sometimes even the mouse wheel to no avail.
OOOOO BOYYYYYYYY.

It never changes. Wether you're shooting a gun or swinging a sword in every single game.

The. Left. Mouse. Button.

Jeez how can you defend the PC but not know how to fire a gun in one of its best FPS games........
Oh alright, thanks, I'll try it in the morning. Although if anyone knows how to pick up things like those bottles that I see people throwing around I'd appreciate if you'd told me.
You just press the balloon key on your keyboard. Sometimes the cheese button works, but I only get about 50% feedback from it.
Picking up is almost always the "E" key. left mouse to shoot. scroll wheel to change weapons sometimes. same with the f key. the number keys at the top are generally to change weapons. There, that should answer any future questions for anyone. I have not played pc left 4 dead, but i assume that the control setup is similar to every other game on pc.

What were you saying Richard? The PC's stronger than the 360 or PS3? Thats only a valid point if you actually know how to use the damn thing

Not hard, as long as you have hands and eyes.
I worked as a computer technician at a company as a summer job. Don't say that, you would surprised... really surprised. It was the most depressing job I ever had.

Are you asking for the amazing tales of my summer where office workers couldn't install the program on their CD because the CD wasn't actually in the computer? I could go on with "problems" people had but I spout my life problems unless you seriously want to hear them....

EDIT: I'm saying that a lot of people with eyes and hands can seriously fuck up using a computer.

Ever heard the story where the woman put her credit cards inside a Wii's disc slot?

Classic

Not but someone thought they had one of those computers you could slide your credit card through so she kept sliding it through the keys on the keyboard. It was odd she came to me because you shouldn't be online shopping while at work...

Seriously a Wii? What were they trying to do?

I checked and there's no "change map" option in the call a vote menu
Thank God, I was having issues finding the "t" button on my Xbox controller :p

Because the PC is the strongest platform. No brainer.
Hahaha! Haha! Ha! *Catches breath* HAH!

Sure, Richard. We will go along with your dream.
You have to be joking, right? We can debate all day long about what's the most "fun" console to play on. But when it comes to measurable power and versatility, there's not much room for a debate.

Yeah my PC is pretty cool, it's the entire 4th floor of a 6 story building. The other floors are for cooling the PSU - I play on the roof, but I flip the switches on floor 4. I have cuban slave children with fans just flapping all day and it works amazingly. I'm nice, I don't leave the thing on when I don't need it.

I have to upgrade every month though, because if I don't, it becomes obsolete! Seriously, no one supports 1 month old hardware! One time I forgot to upgrade my CPU's from a 2.0 to a 2.1 clock speed (overclocking wasn't an option, those kids need their rest) and IT COULDN'T PLAY ANY GAMES! I couldn't even open microsoft word, it was horrible, it kept crashing.

It only costs me $2,000,000 per month to manage though, and probably $2,000,001 if it wasn't for the kids and Frys.

Ok everyone calm down, I wasn't insulting anyone, I'm just commenting on the comparative prices of consoles and PCs. My bad.

Getting yourself decent gaming pc isn't as expensive as a lot of people would have you believe, especially if you can put it together yourself (which isn't as hard as you might think either)

Besides, if you can afford a PS3 then you aren't exactly poor either...

Also, L4D is awesome.
