My nickname was Junior Cheeseburger for a while (look at my username). Some people still call me Cheesy, which I find kind of interesting.

At another point I was Ginger Snaps, because we had to bring in food for French class. I brought in Ginger Snaps (long story about them), and Bob's your uncle. I still call another guy Springrolls, after what he brought in.

Nicknames like that are rather pointless.
A nick-name must be earned, a nick-name thought up for the sake of making a nick-name is rather pointless
Correct, you can't just seperate your name and use synonyms and get a nickname, that is an anagram of sorts, You've got to work for it.

OT: I recently got the nicnname "ACE" From my friends, we were sitting around and I had a deck of normal playing cards in my hand, still in the little box it comes with, and I told my friends that I was going to grab a random card and it would be an ace, low and behold, I grab a random card pull it out and, ace, thats how I got a REAL nickname. But it's still not that cool, just stick with your own name.

are you tired of the same nickname, or simply dont have a nickname at all then try this method. My name is graham so i seperated my name into gray + ham, i then realised that gray is like silver and ham is like sausage. so im now the silver sausage

my friend was justice clean, coming from lawrence. law = justice, rinse = clean.

let me know what name you end up with, you might need a thesaurus
Lemme try:

Douk -> Do Uk

Do is to perform, and UK is a country.

Guys call me Perform United Kingdom from now on.

Well, my real name is Trivun (yes, I used my real name as my username, try no to look so surprised...). That just becomes Tri-Vun.

Tri could possibly mean something to do with 'three'.

Vun doesn't mean or sound like anything at all. So this method is useless for me, unless I call myself 'Threevun', which just sounds stupid.

Nyeh, I'm happy with my own name anyway...

Yes of course, that does sound stupid, unlike Trivun which is a very unstupid name.

Yeah, that's stupid. You give someone a nickname in order to make fun of them. Like my roommate, Tubs, or my co-worker, Fatty Matt Ree.

What? Is your name Richard?

OT: I suppose that nicknames should be defining something about you as a person, not just something you randomly make up. A real nickname comes naturally.

Let me try it with my very unique name that starts with L...[footnote]that is all you get, it says so on my profile[/footnote]

no thesaurus results and no thesaurus results...

Hmm... Maybe this method is flawed or my name is so overpowered that Thesaurus.com can't handle it.

Just call me Redlin then XD

Because I'm such a nice guy, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that wasn't a dig at my slightly unusual name. Please correct me if I'm wrong there, won't you...?

And by that I mean if this was a dig at my name, I will come down exceptionally hard on you. I don't take personal insults lightly. Understood?

"I'm down". Not much you can do with "Milo", so I split and stretched it into "My low".

And yeah, nicknames shouldn't be thought up just like that.
lolwut? (sorry XD)
Stop stealing my name =P Yeah, my IRL name is Milo. And if anyone makes a The Mask joke, I reserve the right to slap them across the face should I ever meet them in person. Catch-22 jokes are fine though.
