I'd say Orange Box. Call of Duty (Any). If you've got the system for it, Crysis.

Crysis maybe not so much... it has the (sucky) vehicle section and the NPC's have unlimited range and accuracy... And you need an insane over-the-top computer for it.

Turn the post processing on Low and get the patches, and you'll wonder why everyone says "CRYSIS NEEDS SUPER COMPUTER OH NOES!"

I also vote for the original Half Life, as well as the Medal of Honor series, I would recommend stating with Allied Assault. As for controls, it is relativley easy tpo remap keys, my usual setup is.
W- Forward
S- Backward
A- Strafe Left
D- Strafe Right
Space- Jump
R- Reload
E- Use/Activate/Interact
Left Shift- Run (if normally walking) or walk (if running)
C- Crouch
Tab-Objectives Menu
Q- Special Power (if applicable)
