How to make a popular thread

Either go for controversial, or totally open ended.

So don't make a thread like, "What's your favorite species of fur seal?" Go more like, "What is the coolest animal"

Or, "Poll: Should Fur Seals Die because they Suck?"

From what I've seen you make up some nonsensical bullshit like "You're now getting buggered by the last thing you killed in a video game". People seem to flock to that garbage for some reason. Not sure why.

Theres plenty of ways to get a popular thread with many replies. Just dont offer up anything too thought provoking, or with a lot of required reading or people will just ignore it.

Least thats been my experience.
