I would like to open this as a discussion about ways to make money.
Pointless comments like "get a job" should be ignored, since selling labour is not a proper way to make money, rather a way for other people make money off you. So, my fellow escapists, share your wisdom and/or experience.

I'll pack myself into a bag, get a friend to store said bag in the under compartment of a bus. Sneak out, steal valuable, or possibly designer underwear, and sneak BACK into the bag..

And I'll leave videos of me stealing the stuff everywhere, so people will be too impressed to report it.

i hear whoring pays pretty well. You're your own boss, you set your own hours and, your services are always going to be in high demand. There are some things a robot simply isn't capable of like, awkward post-coital conversation and, sweating.

Other than that I've got nothing.

Buy up all the Monopoly boards you can find. Pull out all the $20.00 bills (since they are the only green bills). There you go - a whole stack of $20s to blow on whatever you want.

It's sad that no one wants to actually share knowledge, and only concentrate on being smartasses. :/

I dunno, make a viral video that will become super popular and then sell some merchandise to go along with it?

I'm sorry, but did you really expect better?

OT: Daytrade. Especially with the volatile economy, there are a lot of opportunities for profit. Or devastating loss. I think it's worth the risk.

That's all that can be done in today's economy I'm afraid.
I predict massive growth in the smartarse industry over the coming months, leading to returns of up to 300%.

This is 100% guaranteed to happen and investing trillions of pounds into this market will not in any way cause an economical collapse.

That's easy - making money must become the top priority in your life.
Stop playing games, stop going out with friends, stop doing everything that's not helping you to make money. Befriend people only if there's something to gain from that friendship. It's better to be friends with wealthy and/or influential people. Also people with a lot of friends because some of them might help you to make more money.
From the moment you wake up to the moment you go to sleep, money must be on your mind.
After a few years of that, you'll have a lot more experience at making money than most people which means that it will be much easier to make them. That in turn means that you'll be able to make even more money.
When you'll become wealthy enough, you can hire people to make money for you. Now that you won't have to worry about making money, you can spend all that free time you now have to make EVEN MORE MONEY!!!

MONEYMONEYMONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OP: Make your own printer that prints money and then use it? That should work, right? Nothing illegal about it..... right? :p

You want mature?
Get a job, quit expecting life to just hand you crap and go and earn it.

How was that kid?

OT - Looking at the economy in the Eurozone at the moment, I'd probably buy some property. Something big and flashy, like the Parthenon, seeing as Greece is pretty much screwed right now. Sit on it, then offer to sell it back to whatever government manages to weather out the economic shit storm.
So it's a long term plan rather than short term, but hey, it makes sense.
