Now I'm not Republican, though I am Conservative. What you posted is the stereotype of Republicans are stupid and uneducated. Which isn't true. Such a thing wouldn't get me to shut up. I've been in threads "elaborating" until I had to leave because I had more important things to deal with, like going to class or eating.

If they do come back with information they claim isn't liberal, there is a 99.9% chance it is Liberal. Countless times I have looked up sources that Liberals have used after I used my shut up technique, and I have shot down every one.

They usually come back with some obscure source, but when I do research, I find that the trail leads to Liberals. The Liberal that brings the information back, thinks that since I am Conservative and most likely stupid, I won't actually take the time to do the research to disprove his source.

I have such huge problems with this argument that it's really not funny: what the hell is a liberal source? I suppose it'd be a source backed by people with money whose views are on the "liberal" side. Well, then what the hell is "liberal"? I hate this word with a passion. Liberal can be anything that the group opposing it doesn't like. Liberal used to be such a nice word until it was destroyed and its meaning corrupted by associating it with negative things. Rather than trying to cut down a single source, I'd suggest finding multiple sources. After all, if liberal sources are bad, then we must also agree that conservative ones (going along with the definition for liberal sources) are also bad. Politics is mind-numbingly devotional, way worse than religious "My god is better than your god" debates at times. Anyhow, neither a liberal nor a conservative source is good, bias gets in the way on both sides.

not really, real faith requires that you be unwavering in your beliefs, i.e not accepting the possibility of being wrong.

I think he's just pointing out the irony of the post (in that both sides should accept there's a slight possibility that they're wrong, yet the initial poster has decided to go after one side only). I.e. he's saying the same as you in a roundabout way.
