Mine is get a q-tip, put Vaseline on it, then clog up the nose with that.

What about you?
Sniff Ammonia

Seriousl it works perfectly 1 and it can cure a cold

just be careful how much you sniff one time i sniffed too much and couldn't smell for a full day

Just put your head over a sink and let it bleed if it goes long enough you might get a cheap high

generally a bit of toilet paper used to plug the nose does the job. just have to remember to change the tissue regularly

2 things: I used to get obnoxious nosebleeding fun when I was a kid, and I am from a dry climate
It comes down to two easy things that stop and prevent nosebleeds
1. Put your head under the coldest water possible with your Shower/bath nozzle aiming the water on the back of your neck to stop bleeding
2. Put a little vaseline into each nostril every night before bed and it will keep your nose from drying out

Pinch nose shut, lean forward, wait three minutes.

I saw it on one of those "knowing is half the battle" GI Joe public service announcements when I was a kid---apparently some people choked to death on their own blood so the GI Joe folks felt it necessary to educate kids about the proper doctor-recommended method.

Having boxed as a young lad, the vasoline on the q-tip is the best way to go if you need to keep doing something, but it's healthier to let it clot normally (pressure and lean your head forward or back).

And stop picking your nose. :p

Huh, I only had a bleeding nose once, as a child, when I fell face-first onto the pavement.
They just stuck some tissue papers up my nose till the bleeding stopped.
I'm not a person who bleeds a lot.

I tear some tissue off, plug my nose right up, then pinch the bridge of my nose really tightly just below the cartilage. Works a treat.

Let it bleed out. If after one hour it's still bleeding, consult a doctor immediately. And if manga is anything to go by, reduce stuff that might arouse you. You may also want to reduce your chocolate intake (both Japanese old-wives' tales, BTW).

Shove a finger as far up the nose as you can, and have a search for the source of the problem ;)

never really had a nose bleed, although I have been punched there a few times, it never seems to bleed.
