How would I survive? I live in a country that freezes over for most of the year and any organic matter that isn't able to sustain it's body heat (Or hibernate)... Will freeze over, die and on top of that the cell's water will freeze totally destroying the cell)

I would back my back and go to my family's summer home, quite far away at archipelago of Turku. But it is so remote that nothing will just wonder there. And the place has it's own electric supply on the national grid. It's own water supply that is winterproof. Plenty of wood in the nearby (well I wouldn't call it a forest, but rather collection of trees). Getting in and out is tricky even from living, with the proper equipment even - you have to know how to get there or you will sink your boat.

But what I would take.

Enough emergency food for at least an year.
Fishing rod
Shovel
First Aid kit x2 (advanced first aid kit)
Composite bow with composite arrows.
Hand crank light and radio.
Axe
Knife
Combat knife

(Why don't I buy a gun... Well they are harder to get here than you would imagine... This is no USA. Having a gun is not a right - it is privilege. Also ammo - heavy and clumsy)

Or I just camp in my own apartment. It has few residents who are most of the time away. A cast iron frontgate, heavy wooden doors, complex maze like basement and attic. I live at the top floor, good view and open areas near me. I am right in the center of the city. I know my way around, this REALLY small city. And again - during winter this place this place freezes the hell over.

You don't survive the zombie apocalypse, you only delay the inevitable!

That said, I live at the top of a 3 story apartment building, so I'd stick with my flat mates, stock up on supplies at first report of anything wrong (there's a corner store near us) block up the stairs with excess furniture and such things and wait for all of this to blow over while reading comics etc. I have a handgun, so we at least have a gun (In NZ it's not all too common) and if we have to get more supplies, that corner store has a lower roof to our building and we have a ladder and rope we could use, to get in the skylight. We would empty it of zombies, barricade it up and get everything useful we could out of it.

Not the worst plan around.

Sound like a similar situation to me, we should team up. My place, or yours?

Well the people (not including myself) would probably be someone with weapons/survival training, someone with exceptional leadership and someone with a car. At least one of whom is a lady...

My five things would be an axe, bow and arrows (one thing), swiss army knife, high power rifle and a handgun of some description with ammo of course. Maybe a set of lock picks instead of one of them?

Provided I don't get thoroughly murdered, which is very probable considering I'm an unfit asthmatic, me and the crew would head to a small town not to far outside Edinburgh so we could make supply runs and what have you...

Be a zombie.

As Penn & Teller put it, all of these apocalyptic scenarios have humanity all but wiped out, with minimal survivors. Odds are, you're fucked.

find a farm with a fence and running water and build zombie-traps, kinda like minecraft. i'd slowly work towards building a compound consisting of many, individually fenced area's so in case of an outbreak you can retreat to the next area or even shut off one part so it wont spread to the others.
i would encourage others to join me and farm for food, try to get some uninfected livestock and breed them. live off supply runs from a nearby city until we are self-sufficient.
i'd like as many ppl as possible around, but if i had to choose 3 i'd go for some pretty girls (who are offcourse also intelligent, capable and interesting).
for items id start off with some sturdy clothing, leather jacket, leather gloves, strong jeans and combat boots. i'd wear a cloth mask (not sure what you call them in english, the kind that covers your whole face except for your eyes) and a helmet over that. a melee weapon like a fire axe or a crowbar (especially handy because it helps you get into buildings/ vehicles) and a gun (for unfriendly ppl or suicide, not for the zombies).

i think the make-shift armor is essential at first, just to make sure you dont get bitten or scratched unless your completely overrun. if you get those essentials over with, the next step is basic survival, in my case it would be farming.

Most of the time I live right next to a National Park, in a pretty small and isolated town, so I doubt the infection would even spread that far. My immediate plan if zombies (or any other apocalypse occurs) is to firstly make sure I get to my house and round up family and friends. In the event that I'm elsewhere, that involves stealing a bike and cycling cross-country. I'd then stockpile as many supplies as possible and make fortifications, and form a plan to runaway onto the national park if things got too hairy.

I likely wouldn't survive, but I'll share my plan even if its doomed to failure.

For the first few days, I would probably stay in my house, only looting houses on my own blocks that have already been abandoned, traveling from house-to-house via backyards. (After gearing up of course, likely in a face mask, featured in my avatar, a hoodie and my machete. And my inhaler...)

After the first week or so I would begin looting other places, after all the initial excitement wore off. Then I might leave the city in search of greener pastures. Of course I probably wouldn't last that long.

Luckily this is never gonna happen....right?
