How to turn off X-Box Live auto renew?

Anyone know how to turn off the auto-renew for X-Box live? I kinda want Microsoft to stop taking my money without warning. I can't find any option for it in the menu, is there a way to do it without hassling around over the phone?

if you use a game card to add time, even during your current subscription, then that supersedes your auto renew AFAIK.

edit: there really should be a more user friendly way to remove your card details from a console though...

I believe the only way is to go to the Xbox Live website and Sign in. Upon signing in I believe it should be in the payment options. You are required to go through Multiple screens of "Are you sures" and questions like that. Eventually you will reach an area where it lets you unsign a reoccurring subscription.

I think you will have to use the site, I'd suggest going to their support info section to find out how.

All I can remember about it was turning off the auto-renewal after paying $1 for a month was such a pain...
