Ooooh, I hate that Megavideo thing. I get that myself all the time, I usually use Megavideo to stream old TV shows when I'm at university (legally, before anyone complains, since my boxsets are all at home usually, since I'm careful about taking stuff to uni after being burgled twice in six months...). I hate the time limit, but I'm not forking out money I can't afford just to avoid waiting an hour every time I watch stuff for ages. It's something I just put up with.
Anyway, when I do that I'll just surf the internet or do any jobs that need doing around the house. I also play games on my DS or emulator, or places like Kongregate, just to pass the time quicker...

Lurk and post here. Or just play a mindless game for a bit. That, or i just play through 2 danmaku shooter games, since those are always really short, and only take a half hour at the most. lol

As daft as it sounds, learn the basics of something, say a language for example, see if you like it, and if you enjoy it then next time you've got an hour or whatever free you can just learn more or compound what you've already learnt. Besides languages you can do whatever you like the luck of at a glance, or try something new, and get whatever benefits your topic will give you.
Escapist, anime, video games, reading, etc.
