How varied have your avatars been, or how unique is your current avatar?

Pretty sure this is the only one I've ever used here, and I made it on photoshop, so I guess it is pretty unique...

Well, it's hardly unique, as I just ripped it from a comic I love, but I've yet to see anyone with the same one, or even one from the same comic. Which is handy, as I can alternate between a few if I want.

I have had various Doctor Who themed avatars. My current one is a special Halloween one I made myself.

...well actually I make all mine myself, BUT STILL!
So yea, all mine are unique as they were all made by me!

In fact, here is my avatar list in chronological order so far.

I think I got them all.

And these are my avatars I have still to try out on this site:

And I plan on making these into usable avatars soon:

I always love your Avatars.
:D

I had a Zero Punctuation one to start with. Then I had Pinsir. Then it's been different Pikachus.

I like this one, and I like how easy it is to change seasons with it.

I've seen one person with my old ZP one.

Kill it with fire all the way. I've never really thought of changing it. Although, I might change it to the high class T Rex.

I've only had two or three avatars on here, and honestly I cannot remember what my previous avatars were. My current avatar is a VNV Nation promo photo, and I doubt anyone else has used it as their avatar on here.

I've only had one, Zombie Nixon. And once you have Zombie Nixon there's no reason to change.

Not very varied. I think when I started here I had some MGS avatar and that changed to the piece that is my current avatar since I made it a week later. No one would probably have mine either as it's created by me and I haven't uploaded it to anything that I can think of.

I think I'm going to change my avatar now :D

On various other sites, my avatars usually involve a Houndoom in some way.

Don't ask, I haven't figured it out yet.

Here on the Escapist, I've only had two avatars, both of which have to do with heavy metal. My current avatar is the deathbat, Avenged Sevenfold's mascot, and my previous avatar was a memorial image for Ronnie James Dio.

On this site, I'm pretty sure I've had the one I have now as my avatar since I joined.
Around the internet, I've used many different avatars, mostly variations on my face (some modified pictures, too!)
First, three avatars that I snapped with my webcam in darkness, then edited for creepiness.

Then, my good old smoking avatar.

Here's my fog-on-glasses:

This is my favorite.

My most recent!

Sorry for the different sizes, I forgot to resize them before I uploaded them to imgur.

I've only had one here but I've had several over the years. My first one was a picture of Tux (the Linux penguin) with a BFG that was captioned "Born to Frag." Next was the logo from a band I listen to called Kidnap Kings (at the time Dropping Daylight). Nobody knew what that one was and I was always getting asked so I changed it to Yahtzee's Pants on Head image. People thought that one was funny so it remained that way for quite a while but I recently changed ALL my avatars (Escapist, Steam, Twitter, even my windows login) to this Dalek with an iPod. It amuses me and people tell me (esp. on Twitter) that it's easy to pick out my posts this way. Whether that's good or bad, I don't know. Needless to say, my avatars, while unusual, don't vary much from a general gamer schema.

Hmmm... my first avatar was Alphonse Elric, then it was... someone or other from Misfile, then it was... Satoko, then Gordon Brown, then psychotic laughing Rena, then this laughing Rena.
Rena...

Renamon...

Hmm...

For the most part, my avatars have been unique to the Escapist. I am the only one with a Renamon avatar, as I have been for the most part. A few of my past avatars have also been Renamon, with varied aspects of animation or still images. My current, "happy-Renamon" is the one I enjoy the most, as to I partly made it myself...

[sub]Meaning I cropped the image and resized the quality. I didn't draw it.[/sub]

For the most part, there hasn't been much variance to my avatars since right after I first changed my username, when I used an "Avatar avatar."It was animated, and featured both Jake and Neytiri looking with gazes of shock to the viewers of this fine forum.

[sub][sub]I still love that movie to death. So much fun to watch...[/sub][/sub]

It started out as Xaeros from Unforgotten Realms then Rutger's portrait from Fire Emblem: Sword of Seals, and then Rutger doing his Swordmaster critical animation. After that it was Iji from well, Iji, performing her Retribution technique. And recently I've been switching between the dancing Alice from "Marisa Stole the Precious Thing" and serious Shanghai which you can see on your left.

well my current avatar for a bunch of other forums is unique, because i made it myself and i'm pretty sure nobody ever had it. Not for Escapist though, obviously
