I like bands in most genres, it really comes down to whether I like the band or not.

The only genres I haven't yet found I like anything in is metal, rap and hip-hop really - Oh yeah, and dubstep.

My most varied bands would be..

and

I fill my playlists with any song that sounds pretty cool, whether it be for the chords, or the lyrics or the beat. Currently, my general playlist includes...
Procol Harum, Nickelback, 30 Seconds to Mars, & Queen. The Yardbirds, Snow Patrol, The Fray, & The Beach Boys. Tina Turner, Crossfade, Utada Hikaru, & Phil Collins. The Sex Pistols, Nightwish, Florence and the Machine, & The Doors. And The War of the Worlds.

The only thing I condemn immediately is screamo. I just can't see the appeal.

First song on my Spotify Playlist: The Impression That I Get - Mighty Mighty Bosstones - Ska
Second song on my Spotify Playlist: Owner of a Lonely Heart - Yes - Pop (80s)
Third song on my Spotify Playlist: Machinae Supremacy - Truth of Tomorrow - I don't even know...

It only continues to get more and more mis-matched. My taste in music is very varied.

My iPod has everything from Prince to Pink Floyd, from Lady Gaga to Led Zeppelin, from Iron Maiden to Iggy Pop. Basically something from every genre except Country, Rap, and some of the more extreme metal subgenres.

Generally, I will tolerate anything except rap and hip hop.

I usually don't like artists who started after 1990, but exceptions do exist.

Yes I was raised on 60's, 70's and 80's. How did you know?
