Most genres really that do not bother me. That means no rap, hip hop, pop (with some exceptions, jpop is fine for me), reggae and most stereotypical rock bands like Nickelback, Jonas Brothers, etc.

What I listen is Metal, Rock (the good one), Screamo, Emo, Metalcore, Progressive, Classical, Orchestral, Alternative and a little bit of Trance and Electronic.

I have 167+GB in those genres...

I've listened to the "Rat Pack", Dropkick Murphys, Glen Campbell, Rush and Symphony X all in the same hour on my mp3 player. I even have some MC Hammer and RunDMC thrown in for good measure.

I listen to a lot of music. What I wont listen to, is heavy rap, screamo (the type where you cannot hear either the instruments or the lyrics), country/folk, and old vintage. (including, yes, the Beatles.)

I like most everything that isn't rap (The Gorillaz being just about the only exception here), RnB, or country.

Everything from Siouxsie & The Banshees to Kate Bush to Fatboy Slim. It's actually kind of jarring when my (random) playlist switches between the first two. EDIT: and now it just swapped to Nirvana. If I'm lucky it'll start playing Beck.

Thought Riot (punk) to Heaven Shall Burn (metal) to Streetlight Manifesto (ska) to one rap song I like: "All the Above". Also a ton of bands that I would be surprised if anyone else has heard of: I.R.A.T.E., Strength In Numbers, Spit.

Also funny to see people on here say "I'll listen to any genre" and all the bands they name are stuff on the radio... radio punk (pop punk) =/= punk and radio metal (mostly nu metal) =/= metal.

It's not varied at all. I only listen to one genre (rock) and only one artist within that genre (Bruce Springsteen) and only one song by that artist (Cover Me). I'm starting to get tired of it.
