well, the touchy debates are just a part of what the internet hold: people discussing over matter they normally would have trouble talking about. and, as much as I try to stay away from said debates since I'd rather keep my opinions to myself then start arguing with people online, I'm pretty happy seeing different opinions clash with each other (as long as the guys wont start cursing each other, of course).
as for the negativity and rants, well people feel the need to vent once in a while, and though this isnt the ideal place for it, it is a convenient one...

though that's only my opinion on it, anyway...

@steeple: I agree with you to some extent, but it's just to much of it. Like with a small DLC or change in a game, everyone's up in arms about it. I don't understand that, the developers do so for a particular reason and it's your choice to buy/play the game right?

Oh look I am now complaining. My apologies ^_^ I shall just say I am fine with people being themselves but overdoing the vent or getting at each other without much topics at hand but instead personal opinions then it just starts to be unpleasant least for me. *shrug*

well, we all have out gripes with some developers, but yeah I agree with what you said...
and dont worry, we wont kill those who complain a bit, we'll just kidnap you and sell your stuff on the flea-market...
