OT: Michael Swaim made it clear that an imminent meteor heading for Earth would be best because once people knew that the end was tomorrow, the World would turn into a massive care-free orgy.

I'm putting my bet is on a highly evolved disease/plague that humanity hasn't found a vaccination for.

A lot of people without an immunity for it will die, it'll probably cut the earth's human population severely.

With people being able to travel over the globe it probably would not be localized.

TL;DR

an antibiotic resistant disease that reintroduces strong selection pressures on humans.
