Portal 2 isn't quite as good as the first was when it came out, though it is still great. I remember there being more twitchy portal shooting in the first, which I kinda like - timed stuff that wasn't just about intercepting stuff in mid air. Would like some challenge rooms, some advanced rooms - you know, a bit more, especially since the first third is sooooo easy :/

He'll probably mention that the ending fight and the end video were mutually incompatible.

If you see the ending, you'll understand that.
I'm... not sure I do 0.o

The co-op is a lot more challenging since with two sets of linked portals the levels can be a lot more interesting.

Have you not tried co op yet? It completely stumped a friend and me at one point last night, to the point where we were thinking about it for 15 minutes before we quit xD Going to try again today though.

I've finished the game. I can confirm that I haven't got a clue what you mean.

I hope he can squeeze every singe flaw Portal 2 had... No matter how big or small it is. Else, we won't have anything by next week.

Yes, there were more "twitchy" puzzles in the first. I put twitch in quotes because I'm pretty sure my mom could time those. They were still a joke. I don't know why everyone is trying to put the puzzle quality of Portal 1 on such a high pedestal when it's a joke compared to Portal 2's puzzle difficulty.

Sure they were faster, but if you think it's difficult to go through two portals and then land your blue on a small patch before landing back in your orange, than you need to play more shooters.

well my bet is he will find something minor to say is wrong with it like GLaDOS not being a big enogh part of the game (she only tests you in the first 3 chapters and then replaced by this twat whetly and no i dont count the potato stage cause she hardely says or does anything) and say its an over all good game

Guessing there'll be something about wanting to rip out his own eardrums to make Wheatleys voice go away.

More importantly, isn't this like the first time we've actually anticipated a ZP episode, to the point of creating a hype thread?

Well he said at he points out all the bad parts to make the developers learn not to do it next time (they will anyway) so he may say good things but aim at the bugs, difficulty curve ect.

I thought it was good and the ending made me need extra pants to hold the epicness.

Yeah, I played through it in an evening with a friend. To be fair he'd already done it so we didn't get stuck, but there were only three or four chambers where I was scratching my head enough for him to show how it was done. The challenging co-op levels are great, but I'd really like some more complex puzzles to be available single player as well - I don't always want to rely on a friend :/

Faster's all I want. I want a bit of timing and quick thinking to be involved, not just a little bit of clever thinking. Some of the levels shown in the teasers were pretty insane - or at least, were shot to look insane and awesome, but there wasn't much of that if any in Portal 2. Cleverness, yeah, but not much quick thinking. That is what disappointed me.

I can imagine him saying something like, "If Portal was making out with your new girlfriend/boyfriend, then Portal 2 is having sex with that person."

Just a 30 second clip of his little video self with forks jammed into his eyes.

That said, I can actually see him taking some issue with certain things revealed over the course of the story, but they're just blips on an otherwise fantastic game.

Ok, so remember

When Wheatley blows the explosives and you shoot a portal through the roof?
But then later you take an elevator trip to the surface and there is a massive field of wheat, with no indications of holes or cracks anywhere to shoot a portal through?

Yea that. Incompatible.
