First play through will be a stealth kill only, possibly part pacifist run. Second will completely pacifist run on. And the third will be balls to the wall killing. Fun times will ensue.

I'll try sneaking and when I inevitably balls it up I'll kill everyone in a two mile radius. That's how stealth games usually go for me, the second playthrough is often much better since I know the different routes and things.

I'll try sneaking some of the time if I get bored, but what's the fun in that? The trailers have shown me far too many awesome offensive abilities to not put them to use.

The money would still go to them, so I'm not giving them my business. Snub me, I'll snub you right back.
You know it's Arkane you're hurting more than Beth. These developers put work into what could be a great game. Punishing developers because of their publishers seems immature to me, as Beth may have been one of Arkane's only options.

Won't bother. Bethesda doesn't seem to want the money of PS3 players anyway, so ain't giving it to them. Besides, not like we'll get any DLC for the game anyway.
so why do you bother coming in to the thread? if you want to whine, do it elsewhere.

First run, attempted pacifist, which will fail thanks to unfamiliarity with the game
Second Run: murdermurdermurderDEATHkillingmurder
afterword, who knows

By the looks of it, Dishonored has taken a page from the Assassin's Creed book by giving the player more than enough weapons and abilities to turn their enemies into so much red mist, so I'll entertain the possibility of some stealth. However, if any foul-mouthed guards get between me and some good old-fashioned exploring, I will not hesitate to stop time and shoot all of them.

I think i may kill one or two targets to keep potential targets in fear, and simply make the rest of them disappear (Like the brothers who you can sell into slavery to work the rest of their lives in their own mines)

i'm not sure how i'll play overall, probably just wing it.

Captcha: Gung Ho, seems fitting since that's pretty much what happens when i plan for stealth (Sneak around a bit, say fuck it, run in guns blazing)

I don't complain about it existing.

My anger with Beth is the mealy mouthed, passive aggressive, and incredibly transparent way they've snubbed PS3 owners over Skyrim.
That's like not buying a Id software game, or a Obsidian game, because Bethesda snubbed you on the PS3.

Your logic makes no sense because you a snubbing an entirely different company that in no way shape or form was related to the actions of the company that snubbed you.
No, it isn't, and by the by, I wont' buy another Obsidian product either since they're connected to Beth. Screw them.

Maybe you should go a step further with this ridiculous boycott and stop playing all PS3 games because they had the nerve to sell a Bethesda Game Studio game at all... Maybe you should stop buying Sony Electronics too.

OT: I'll probably try and play stealthily and only kill my target, but we all know that will inevitably fail and I'll walk out with a very bloodsoaked room

Please explain this "transparent" snubbing.

It's really up in the air right now whether or not I'll get Dishonored. I mean, it looks and sounds really cool, but my gaming schedule is packed for the next several months. Maybe if I find myself bored early next year...

Anyways, OT, if I do get it, I'll most likely play #2. I don't really like killing those who aren't actively trying to kill me, but I have no qualms with introducing to reality the fools who think they can take me on.

They told their PS3 users that they have problems getting their DLC to work to a high enough degree of quality for their liking and said that instead of releasing a buggy broken mess (more than usual!) that would affect a large number of players who would have paid $20 for it that they just won't release it at all until they can solve the issue.

RAAAAAGGGGEEEE how dare they not trick users into buying broken DLC and instead refuse to take their money and try to fix the problem

HOW DARE THEY

Echoing my sentiments here, PS3 users just won't be satisfied on this issue. If the released the DLC then you'd just complain it was a "buggy mess like Skyrim" so they try to fix it before it goes out and boom "we've been snubbed".

As for Dishonoured, I'm excited to play each way through honestly. I'm also a little intrigued by a pacifist approach that was shown.

I'll be playing it this way:

I'd buy 'em both if I could, but money's tight. But I plan to play it stealthily when I do eventually pull it out of a bargain bin somewhere. There are tons of action games out there, and not many stealth games. gotta take advantage of this one.
