I'm pretty sure the game starts on the hardest difficulty, or at least it did in the demo.
Judging by what reviews and things have said so far, I'm thinking I won't have to make mistakes delibrately. It seems like some sections are pretty hard to get perfect on the first try, like the ones where you have to hold a bunch of buttons at once.

I'm not going to buy it for awhile, but when I do I'll play it on the hardest mode possible and give myself a huge challenge. Gaming has been too laxing nowadays, I need something to pump my ego like when I played God of War on God mode and beat the bosses when they'd kill me in a single blow
I'm going to buy it (even though i dont have a PS3 im going to play it at a friends house), play it ONLY ONE time through like the developers reccommend, and take it back to gamestop.
