I'll break it down to you simple.

Some of this shit I'm ever gonna need, and some of this shit I will not.

I'm not buying shit to impress people on Twitter. I have self-esteem to spare.

I have a facebook page for the sake of easily arranging events like parties and staying in touch with my friends without cellphones. That's really it. I'm not part of the weird social networking "culture" where you spend all day uploading pictures and irrelevant quotes to make it seem like you're doing something. labelling all your friends as relatives in a stupid fake family or taking stupid tests isn't really up my alley.

If anyone wants to donate a face it'd be appreciated. I still have many blank pages.
Here

Now watch how every women on your Facebook feels the need to have sex with you

OT: I'm very in the loop. Recently got a twitter, because up until I had it I assumed it was the poor man's Facebook, when really it was just a way for celebrities to ignore you in real time (somegreybloke, not my joke).

I have facebook. Thats it.
Because if its something important I will read about it on the news
and if I whant to talk to someone about there day...I will ask them.
Only reason I even have facebook is because...I do not know, maybe to remember my forgien friends names...I sound like an ass. Anyway...yeah thats why I have facebook to keep in contact with friends I can not speak to in person.

In the words of Abraham J. Simpson:

"I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too."

I'm only 25, and yet that rings scarily true...

Im not part of any social networking sites, but I am incredibly computer savvy. So, I would say I'm "with it", minus the social networking.

I know how to work most pieces of technology but I don't widely use all those silly widgets.

I have a Facebook but hate it and never go on it.
I never use my phone.
I never check my email.
I basically use Xbox and MSN to talk to friends.
Seriously though why on earth do people want everyone knowing what they do every second of the day on Facebook or Twitter? I hate it when people learn my name even. [sub] And god dammit my parents are the complete opposite and it annoys the shit out of me.[/sub]

I have a facebook page that I use more than I'd like to admit (It's just SO HANDY!), and I have a phone that I don't use a whole lot. Though I do have a fancy bag that charges my devices (phone, iPod, handheld games) so I think I'm fairly with it. I am not, however, getting things for the sake of getting them. The bag is actually far more convenient than carrying around a ton of chargers with me.

I was going to get a twitter, but the site just seems HORRIBLY disorganized and chaotic! Plus I don't feel the need to announce everything I do on the internet or to follow anyone who does so

I am DoWN WitH my homies in the hoodie streetz. Yo dudette, rad and spiffing, u get me?

I have an android use 'some' of its functions like having synced files and e-mail and a bunch of apps and games (yay android bundle for padding out my phone games FOR CHARITY), used to have facebook but think social networking is a form of social cancer.

Can't honestly see the point in twitter, ever, and I did give it a semi honest chance to not seem insignificant and vapid...much like myself.

Do have a certain blunt and stumbling approach to technology that gets the job done more often than not. So not entirely technology illiterate.

Progressing at speed towards a quantum state of grouchy old guy.

It seems these days if you aren't connected to twitter and/or facebook constantly with your Irange you might as well be a caveman figuring out fire hurts.

Are you easily able to connect your fridge to the net to order food as you take it out or are you like me and still can't connect an Ipod to Wifi?

Are you still using wires like an 80 year old or if there is so much as a charging cable in sight you flip out?
The use of Facebook and Twitter don't make you somehow more technologically adept, and I don't have an account on either. I'm generally a minimalist when it comes to the use of gadgets and whatnot, yet I can easily get things to work just the way I want them to. I just have no need for a fancy smartphone pervading in every corner of my life, or novelties which will soon get boring. I like my technology practical and functional - not cosmetic and gimmicky. My mobile has actual buttons, a durable casing, and it does the job I want it to. Text, make phonecalls, possibly play music, GPS locator, on the rare occassion I actually use it. I keep time with a wristwatch. I prefer MSN and Steam as my primary instant messaging services. And when it comes to web browsers, there are just a few things I want them to do. Display websites properly, have a bookmark feature, and not crash.

I am very up to date with technology but I don't do social media. I am up on it, but I don't feel the need to use it. I tend to keep my life separated. I don't need to have everything all shared with everyone at every second.

Eh.

I'm not that technologically oriented. Just the basics. Gaming consoles, a computer at home, a cell phone if I need it. I see people who can't brush their teeth without updating a social networking site or two, and it just blows my mind.
And I'm 17.
Kids Peers these days.

I am quite "with it" in that I know how to do all the things these "young people" do and I know why they do it. I am not "with it" to the extent that I avoid most of the things these young people do, which seems to involve throwing away as much privacy as possible with scant regard to any consequences. Well, hey, if you want to document your life and put every single scrap of personal info on a public webpage for everyone to look at (and that includes the police, EMPLOYERS, friends, parents, etc), then go ahead!

I'm going to not do that. I'm not so self-centred that I believe that every single nano-second of my life must be recorded and publicly broadcast because I think "I'm just soooooooooooo special!"

I only have a twitter and facebook account for random deals (ie like us and get a 5% coupon) or for voting on things like March Madness; never used it for anything else.
Don't have a cell phone, never owned an apple product so no iPod or iPhone.
So yea I'm definitely a caveman in regards to the rest of the world.
