I've gotten into alot of trouble in my English Classes over the years
(Now this part might sound kind of elitist but its true)
Last year my teacher was iggnorant and racist, and I often had many fights with her over stupid racist things shes said.
This year, I didn't get placed into Acelerated English, which my counsler told me was because my past teacher told them not to. While this year I have no problem with my teacher, their's this girl in my class who is a rich girl, snotty, bitchy, whiney type and pisses me off.
So a couple days ago Im presenting my paper when I say something about how employees from lots of major companies are mistreated, and underpayed. So I say something about how an 20-something year old employee at a job under these companies has to work for x amount of time to get y product.
When this girl states how, EVERYBODY who works at a 'dead beat' job (such as a retail place) is a uneducated, dropout, scum of the earth.
When I reply to her how that most people who work at a place (such as mcdonalds) are students that are either supporting their parents/paying for school/just getting extra cash, or immigrants doing the same. I then state how my father came from greec and had many 'dead beat' jobs even though he had a good education back in greece, and worked his way up and now has become a very sucesful owner and a great rolemodel.
Then this ***** replies with a how immigrant are bad people, made fun of greece, and made hatefull racist comments on subject relating to the paragraph above.
I ofcourse was pissed how my teacher didnt react to her, stating that I had to defend my reasearch and shit, so I did exactly that, stating how wrong and racist she was. With some colorful vocabulary from both parties.
This thing was finally ended by my teacher, and this girl resulted with 3 40 min detentions
and I have a 1and a half day suspension! I called my teacher out on this bullshit, but she gave me shit on how she dosn't give out the punishment, even though she was in the room
I call bullshit! You guys agree?
*Okay somethings need to be cleared up
#1 - I am not whining about not being put in Acc. English, my class has worked out fine for. Good grades, friends, ect. The year is almost over anyway
#2 - I don't blame my teacher for what happened, She is not the racist teacher I have mentioned before. She is also not incharge of handling out the punishments, she reports what happens and her board decides, she did not "pass it on"
#3 - Apparently the note given to the Board said that "Student A is making a presentation, Student B asks question with intent on mocking Student A, Student A replies with offensive language and yelling, Student B answers back in same mannor, Student A makes last comment and walks off" Thus the Board saw me at fault for more of it
#4 - I do blame my teacher for not giving the full story to the board
#5 - No I am not saying that ALL KIDS are "world stupid", I am a 'kid' also.
#6 - I admit I am at fault for swearing, and anger is an issue that I deal with, im not proud of it I'm not trying to eliminate my punishment, just make it less severe.
