" Wow, I grow up to be you? " Said in a disgusted voice.
" I'm getting paid to do nothing. "
" Wow, I grow up to be you? " Said in a happy voice.

That, and the thing the guy near the front said about liking ponies.

I don't think a younger me would understand me. I have changed oh so much. A younger me wouldn't even recognize me.

Young me would think older me was awesome.

I'm doing a course to get into the film or game industry (check)
LEGO collection has been growing exponentially (check)
Still finding awesome cartoons to watch (check)
Haven't let growing older make me grow up (check)

So far young me is happy with where I am. Teenage me on the other hand is still pissed I'm not with my long-time crush yet.

(Younger Me): "Soo, wait wait wait... I turn into a long-haired freak who watches My Little Pony? And I become gay?!"
(Current Me): "Bisexual. You realize you're bisexual. There's a difference."
(Younger): "What difference? You have a boyfriend and have fucked another guy, that still makes you a ******..."
(Current): "Ugh, you'll understand when you grow older and, well, actually mature."
(Younger): "But I don't watch stupid cartoons or sleep with stuffed animals like you do. I'm already mature!"
(Current): "Says the guy who used to have an obsession with the Care Bears... at age 12."
(Younger): "... that... never... happened!"

... at least, theoretically that's what a conversation with my younger self might be like.

"You're not that much different...only much much MUCH more depressing. What is wrong with you? Is this what happens after too many naps?"

"No, it's just trying to be an adult sucks."

"Oh...well, you have friends now. That's good."

Younger me would be glad to see that I am showing signs of progress but he'd be very upset that it took me so long, I would then blame him for not getting to these things sooner and leaving them for me to fix. We'd then start yelling at each other over various mistakes and I'd attack him, slitting his throat and thus deconstructing myself here in the present.

Heh. He'd call me a pansy.

"You're a vegetarian? You do yoga? And you cant eat wheat?"
"Well technically you cant eat wheat either."
"Shut up pansy!"

"so what do we do"

"you know that comic book store we loved?"

"yeah"

"we OWN that now!"

"and the toys we used to collect?"

"they need their own bedroom...and the garage...and part of the living room..."

"How about the CD collection?"

Holds up a hard drive "see this?"

"yeah...so? it's a box, what does it do"

"This box has EVERY song we've ever liked and every song we ever will!"

"whaaaaaa? So what else do we do for fun?"

"See that arcade machine in the living room?"

"yeah...what game is it?"

"ALL of them!"

Yeah...I think he'd be pretty damned happy...

Younger Me (YM) would probably think I was some kind of homosexual (back then I hadn't embraced my more feminine qualities and was still very insecure in my sexuality). He'd probably say something along the lines of "I can't believe I grew up into you".

I would then respond with a swift kick to YM's balls and say:

"You're a goddamn idiot, you know that?! You're life is so much better that you think it is! The world isn't out to get you! So stop listening to those damn emo bands and get your head out of your ass!"

(For the record, I was a HUGE emo back in the day- wait, do people still use the term "emo"?)

I would then follow up with another kick to the balls before returning to my time machine to go to a different point in my life so I can scream into Only Slightly Younger Me's ear "KISS HER, YOU IDIOT!".

Would be disappointed I now listen to hip hop. Not much else though. Maybe be glad I've grown up a bit, but he probably wouldn't see it that way. I think I've hardened a bit and he'd appreciate that, but he'd have no idea who my current favourites bands are.
Would be relieved I did well academically (although it's not over yet), happy I've taken a renewed interest in my French, happy I've taken up the guitar but a little disappointed I gave up the piano and tae kwon do.

"Why are you not a professional soccer player?? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU MAN!??!" is what my 8 year old self would say.

My 14 year old self would probably say "so... let me get this straight, you live by yourself and you're NOT gaming World of Warcraft 24/7? I thought the whole point of moving out was so you could raid late at night without our mother nagging! (PS: Dude, didnt we agree that beard and shirts looks stupid when you're not even 20 yet?? stop trying to look so damn mature, *****"

My younger self wouldn't believe me if I told him I was his future self. XD

And then he would be amazed and shocked that I turned out to be a cool guy who also has an awesome gamer girlfriend.

Yeah, high school was rough for me. All my self esteem got crushed, stomped on and tossed aside by the jerks there. So if a younger me would see myself recovered from that...That would be amazing for him. :p

He would say : " Damn, you got hot ". BECAUSE I HAVE !!!!

Some people call me arrogant, but I just like being me.
This too!

Except when they call me arrogant I can't hear them over the sound of how much more awesome than them I am.
So I can assume that your avatar is usually how you look at yourself in the mirror?
Lol. No, not really, I typically look at myself in the mirror only for the purpose of making my hair vaguely presentable. Vanity and confidence aren't strong points of mine to be honest, I just have moments.

I don't think he would understand why I quit my Uni course and am currently working full time instead.

Oh the dreams I used to have. Kind of tragic, really.

Although I play some sexy guitar now so I guess he'd enjoy that.
