How would the government react against a global Z-day?

How would your government react?

I am an Irish man, so it would probably shoot down all zombies in Ireland, and have a pint, being the first zombie free nation in less then 14 minutes.

Anyway, I think our government would be pretty useless. I guess I'd just have to take matters into my own hands by raiding the kitchen for the biggest knife or meat cleaver available.

To answer your question the government would probaly kill everything that wasen't in a "safezone" after a certain period of time and wouldn't listen to reason the following days because they feel there in control and have power so therefore they would be lazy and thus after killing off possible infected they would start over.
