How Would You Kill Wolverine?

This might not sound so nice, but if you managed to get wolverine into a radioactive field so he gets cancer, and the cancer has the ability to regenerate too, he's pretty much doomed...

Tie him down with some nice strong chains that stay out of the way of his claws, then hand him over to a crematorium and get them to cook him at gas mark 50 for 36 hours, then before he has a chance to regenerate any ligaments or tendons, separate the adamantium-coated bones and encase them in concrete.

Wolverine survived the equivalent of a nuke blast, and regenerated from nothing but a skeleton. I don't think that'll work...

How about powerful magnet first, like lock him in an fMRI chamber or something. Then we get us some nice antimatter. Now there is one technical problem with adamantium, it is still matter, and will annihilate with anti-matter, so you get a lot of it and just leave him to soak, while I am very far away... watching the mushroom cloud as he touches the antimatter...

This is something that me and a couple friends have gotten into long debates over. Keep in mind, we exclude the possibilities that are available in the X-Men universe but not our own. So far the best idea that we've come up with is introducing HIV into his system, but we can't even decide if this would work because he regenerates/heals.

How would you kill Wolverine if you had to?

Nah, i figure with the regeneration he's got to be immune against any variety of infection.

My suggestion: Knock the bastard out with a headshot, tie him up with titanium rope in a way that he can't cut through them with his claws and then dump his ass in seriously potent Nitric acid. then watch, as queaziness allows.

I'm unsure he can be killed - his regenerative powers vary wildly by time period and (more noticeable) by writer. I'd encase hum in concrete. As in, totally surrounded by concrete, with concrete poured down his throat and placed into his veins. Theoretically, he'd be unable to move.

in the unltimate universes magnito takes every piece of his skeleton apart, and destorys his whole body so that he could never come back. In the ultimate universe you stay dead (with the exception of thor but thats a long story)

Perhaps if we asked him nicely enough he would kill himself by lopping off his legs, one arm and use his remaining arm to cut off his head. Then i could grab the arm he cut off and use his claws to cut him into tiny pieces and Scatter them All over the world in seperate vats of lava or acid.
