A large vat filled with some kind of acid would probably do the trick, you know the type that completely destroys organic matter. Leave him in for a few weeks and see how he feels then.

Suitable methods of decommission:
1. Starvation (assuming abilities are confined within the laws of physics as we understand them, this would eventually make the individual dormant)
2. Vitrification (or other similar methods of entombment, would eventually lead to starvation - see point 1)
3. Atomization
4. Exposure to Space (or similar conditions - even if it doesn't physically destroy the body, it will lead to starvation, see point 1 again)
5. Lobotomisation (if a sufficient obstacle is placed in key areas of the brain, it stands they wouldn't be able to grow back)
6. Incineration (assuming the regeneration from the skeletal state is due to bone marrow, rather than the skeleton itself)
7. Denaturization (in layman's terms, warping the skeleton to the point it impedes regeneration)
8. Cancer (assuming cancerous cells posses similar abilities to host cells, they would overwhelm the subject in a relatively short time)
9. Silver Bullet (or is that Werewolves?)

It's getting through a sealed adamentium spine that ticks off decapitation as a no go option. When we slaughtered sheep for food in the mountains on holiday (Algeria) it was hard enough to get through the original enamel version. once you cut through all the arteries and windpipe you'll reach the spine .. and that can be a challenge to cut through .. I'm quite a big guy and i have to put ALOT of effort into twisting the head off when only the top of the spine is keeping it intact.ABLb0y said:

Dismemberment. Sure, he can regenerate small wounds, but I don't think he can regenerate his entire arm.
I'd attach him to a large crane-magnet and just leave him there. It wouldn't kill him, but he'd be permanently out of the way, which is good enough.

Microwave radiation. Get a really powerful magnetron operating at about 2.45GHz and stand back, let the bastard try to regenerate after all the water in his body turns into steam. All that would be left is an adamantium skeleton and pink mist.
Tunnel down to the Earth's core, encase him in cement, then chuck him down the big ass hole, then refill said hole. Pretty safe bet.
