How your favourite game should have ended

Most of my favorite games ended just the way I wanted them too... With a boss fight, and an ending sequence. Games that break this for me tend to disappoint me. I think you know where that is going, but honestly I don't care about the ending as long as that boss fight is good. So just gimme a big baddie to kill and I will forgive ANY amount of shit you might throw at me for the ending.
So the game I would change the ending too? Ghouls and Ghosts... Seriously beating that game is like getting kicked in the family jewels... TWICE.

Naming my favorite game is pretty tough, but let's see...

Well in FFVI... no wait, that had a pretty great ending.

But in Chrono Trigger... no that one had good endings too. (I prefer the crash the Epoch version of the normal ending myself)

StarFox 64... also good.

Sorry guys, I'm not really good at this game.

Persona 4- If they didn't end with one of those animated cutscenes where the voice acting is always super awkwardly performed. Also if they didn't end with the MC leaving town and instead had him defying his parents (who never even send him a letter or anything for an entire year! what asses!) and staying in Inaba forever and ever. Also if they didn't end.

I dunno....FF Tactics' endings seemed pretty a-okay to me. Except for Orlandu dying in the explosions and whatnot...(I think that happens? Haven't played it in YEARS)

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

Link kills Ganon and gets the Triforce, but finds that he can't use it because he actually was Ganon all along.
M. Night Shyamalan? I didn't know you had an account on here.

OT: My favourite games all seem to have really good endings, so I'm struggling to come up with something. I suppose I could just say that the save Shaundi/ Gangstas in space ending to Saint's Row: the Third is the one I'd pick to be the true ending. The music fits better and it's really damned funny.

Maybe Half Life should have ended with Gordon shooting the G-man in his stupid all-powerful face?

Mafia II:
After finishing the last gunfight, Vinci's men come though the back door and murder Vito and Joe while they just finished killing Falcone.

Second option:
Vito and Joe are on the run, after some years, the protagonist of the next game murders both Vito and Joe.

Zhang He's ending in Dynasty Warriors 5 needed to be 10 minutes longer.

It's already pretty much perfect as it is, but an extra 10 minutes would make it transcend perfection.

FFX: Upon reaching Yu Yevon he possesses each of your aeons one at a time, after slaying them all Yu Yevo possesses Tidus (technically he and eons are made of the same thing) forcing you to kill him in order to save Spira for good.
This is DAMN good idea. Although, if I may, I'll make my adjustments:
1. If you have no celestial weapons, then the ending you mentioned;
2. One celestial weapon ore more, but not all, then the existing ending;
3. All 7 celestials - Tidus allowed to live (somehow) and becomes, in time, someone akin to Blitzball league president, Yuna is high priestess, Al Bhed and Yevon(goverment) start working together, Lulu and Wakka live happily ever after, Kimahri becomes chief of the tribe. Basicly the info we could have gotten at the beginning of FFX-2, if such thing existed.

I don't know what the hell you're talking about, OP; Journey had the perfect ending.

It was probably one of if not the most perfect ending to any videogame I've ever played. And after Mass Effect 3 this was a frikking godsend.
