Someone said something about there not being enough Mancs, so I should probably add my tuppence.
Poor game against the Scouse today, but it turns out we can get a draw at Anfield with only half a team, which gives the entire attacking lineup time to rest up for the real game to come in midweek (!). Not too worried about the CL group at all - it's been a poor start there too, but for everyone in the group, so we're only 2 points off the lead there. City, on the other hand, are 5 points off the lead in their group, and got handed a bit of a drubbing by Bayern, which is always nice to see.
Waiting for Cleverley to come back, and for Rooney to sort his head out a bit, and everything will be back as it should be. Jones was a little too out-of-sorts in midfield today, but he's capable enough to settle into the role if he's given time. For a rebuilding year, we're sitting pretty in second, with a host of big matches (Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool) already behind us. When May comes around and City have had to play some real teams, we'll see who's made of stronger stuff.
