https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/659943965/human-resources-an-apocalyptic-rts-game

Yes, Human Resources is a new Kickstarter videogame from the developers Uber Entertainment.

To be short, You are trying to bring the Apocalypse to the humanity with your fearsome army. You can do that by using the pitiful humans as "fuel".
Right now there are only two armies:
-Lovercrafting Monsters.
-Spider-like Robots.

So I decided to create this Thread so we can share ideas and have fun of what other kind of armies can the developers create for this game.
I will List at the end of my posts all the ideas to be in one place and the user who suggested.

Here is my suggestion:

You see that coming, don't deny it.
But yeah, I suggest a satire army which ponies use their hapiness to summon a Giant Humanoid Pony

Armies of Apocalypse:
- The Herd or something similar: Satire/Adorable Level Threat. Mind control and Love/Feelings Feed. Cute amry.
- Zombie Virus or Mutation Virus: Zerg Rush style Level Thread. Power in numbers and Mutation Evolutions. Zombies and Mutated abominations.
- Wild Aliens: Human Hosts Level Tread. Surprise Attacks and Hazarous Blood. Crawling Aliens and Queens.
-Terminator/Skynet robot style: "I am not a robot" Level Thread. Surpirse Attacks and A.I. Supremacy. Skeleton Robots and Overprotective A.I.

I read on this yesterday and I'll say it's too soon since they released PA in a shoddy state, the devs claim they delivered on PA for it's "successful" launch yet we're still missing offline gameplay, ability to save our games, promised units/ buildings still yet to be included and the game is already released, people are pissed, I'm not happy with the "final" result at all and people with beefy rigs can't even handle massive battles without everything going to a snails pace due to the game being tied to a poor server or two, it's just really bad in general and left a sour taste in my mouth and others.

They've also done this in the past where they build up hype, make promises, release a shoddy game and move straight onto another KS then Early access and claim even more money, hell this new KS of theirs is asking double the money PA made and yet they say they are going to use the same engine that PA uses, they claim to have the team, the tech and the mindset and all they have to do is "make the game".

Also I'm not exactly overly fond of just a pony army, I'd rather more a human or other alien species, something more universal and not cuddly kid friendly.

To be honest, I don't know absolutely nothing about their previous Kickstarter game, so my opinion for their new game is limited.
I just wanted to share ideas just for the heck of it. It look fun!!!

Well, obviously they must have a way to defeat the opposites factions from dooming humanity.
Maybe the Changelings are more suitable. They can after all can change everything they like.
Yep, this sound right!

Also we need a Faction with Zombies. Maybe a Necromancer or a Umbrella-like Co.

It's one of those moments where I wish I was a billionaire. I'd set up my own firm where I'd fund any and all kickstarters that have giant mechs and monsters in them.

I'm loving everything about it, but I really don't have faith in that company... or the massive amount of money they're asking for. I'll keep an eye out on it, but I won't be kickstarting or buying early access from them again.

Can't really add anything that hasn't been said already. But yeah, PA is in a sorry state, and I'm definitely wary of Uber now.

It could be great, but... no. Your release of PA was horrible, so you aren't getting any more of my money until you have a fully functional title with everything promised.

Too soon after the abysmal "Release" of PA.

Man if PA is bad then ouch I was hoping it would be good (though refusing to back it because it didn't look like an RTS I'd enjoy).

But yeh I was a big fan of Uber and then the basically crapped on the Super Monday Night combat community and I realised there was something very wrong in Uber, something has changed. they didn't even bother to push SMNC much which was a real shame as it was an accessible very casual Moba playable easily by FPS players.
Ok, I REALLY need check their previous game.
I am worried now....
But again we are talking about a game which you can use humans to built your army.

First of all, here's a video talking about the game's design and how the play-styles of the two factions compare:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06I-Lc5ptKc

As for my ideas for additional factions, I have two suggestions:

1. Zombies/Infected
Given that the game is all about using humans as fuel for the apocalypse, I think that including a Zombie Apocalypse would be entirely appropriate. Obviously the faction wouldn't just be your usual, bog-standard zombified humans, but would include creatures that the infection had turned into mutated abominations - think along the lines of the inhuman creatures from Prototype, Resident Evil, Left 4 Dead or The Flood from Halo. I think that the ordinary zombies could work very well as the resource gathering units, as they'd be very distinct from those of the other factions - instead of a handful of giant harvester units, they'd have a massive horde of tiny resourcing units, and their method of resource gathering would be further unique since each time they harvested a human, they wouldn't just get a resource point but also another resource generating unit. Naturally, frequent culling of the zombie hordes to keep their potential for exponential resource growth in check would be a very important factor when playing against them.

2. Aliens
Another classic doomsday force that could potentially be included. Flying saucers, tripod walkers and ray guns. Their resource gathering units could be abduction saucers, which would be unique as they'd be the only flying resource collectors. Their largest unit would, of course, be the Mothership.

I understand that some people are sceptical about the game due to PA's state at release, but personally I love the concept for this game so much that I just don't care. Seriously, that concept trailer is one of the most awesome things I've seen in a long time and, as a backer, I will be most upset if the game doesn't get made.

I have no faith in Uber Ent. I say this while having multiple developers from their company on my friends list on Steam (Although the only one I really talk to is Ekanaut). They don't support their games very well, and eventually they just drop support entirely while trying to cash in on whoever still wants to play the game. Their games are good, sure, but the support just isn't there.

And RTS's die horrible deaths without support... Just look at BFME2, and it's expansion. Both games had potential, but they only got six and one patch, respectively, and that's not enough for an RTS with 6/7 factions... Then the community had an unofficial patch they used for clan wars, which split the community.

I am very also hype for this game, but I am also worried for the final quality of the game. I saw some reviews from the previous game and it is not good.....

Anyway, Zombies and Aliens.
I think myself T-Virus style Zombies and then Xenomorphs style for the Aliens.

Was hoping for a game about updating employee contracts in response to changing employment law, implementing and upholding policy and assisting management in resolving disputes with staff. Frankly this is a massive disappointment; there isn't even a minigame where you deal with the unions over pay, something Theme Park had and that came out in the before time.

Alas, the management genre will continue to only be effectively represented by sports games.

With a sad heart I must inform you the game "Human Resources" just been canceled...
It seems very obvious they didn't had enough money to get this project founded.
As many users said, on of the reasons the developers fails was the poor quality of their previous Kickstarter game "Planetary Annihilation"....
I hope to see the project revived in the future, but also fix their previous game so they can "boost" the interest for their new game.
Thank you for your time.
