Ugh we're so hypocritical. I despise our species. But then, there could be a (hopefully) large bit of the population who are nice to each other and not total dicks and bullies. But then, we bring it on ourselves. Stupid stupid humanity. Hate it. You get the occasional genius, who benefits everyone here so much, but the bullies, warmongers and dicks you get in swarms and they're far too common.

We say that it is only individuals that screw up big time, but does that really mean the rest of us are all perfect? heres an example: deforestation, are you part of it? maybe not but its still humanity's fault that we are slowly destorying the oxygen created every minute of everyday. We suck!

So the general picture here is that the general world population is going to hell in a hand-basket.

So I will ask one question: If you are so pissed off about it and hate it so much, why are you not doing something about it?

People do horrible things, but that doesn't mean that we are all horrible. Everyone has the capacity to do something good, and honestly everyone who has been ranting in this thread about how the world sucks, is just running away. If you see a problem, work towards a solution. So many people here have voiced their frustration with all the things that have been going on.

Let's unify and do something about it. Let's do something to change the status quo. Complaining about a problem or disengaging from the world around you won't solve anything.

And to tell you the truth, I feel like if you've accepted the way you see things and you don't plan on changing it, then you have no right to complain.

I don't mean to sound self-righteous or whatever, but if you know that violence begets violence and hate begets hate, then why do we not learn and move beyond it. I have my own faults. That is a part of being human. We are not perfect. However, we have the capacity to change things. We have the capacity to do good. Even if it is one person at a time; that is how things can change.

I don't know if anyone is really going to take what I have to say to heart, but I made an account here in hopes that at least one person would resign their hatred of humanity and resolve to do something about it.

I'm sorry if anyone feels that I have wronged them by saying what I said. I bear no ill will towards anyone here.

Did you know the extinction rate is higher than it has been in....EVER? It's because of human influence. I'm not lecturing, just saying.

What a disgrace. There is no decency in people today...
Your logic is based on a fairly false conclusion. Arguably, humans today are at their most humane as they've ever been. There's no slave trade, slavery itself is fairly rare, wars are becoming increasingly infrequent, political freedoms are becoming more widespread across the globe, trade is making everyone richer and happier than before, soldiers are no longer permitted to pillage, destroy and rape as they were not a few hundred years earlier, etc, etc.

You could argue that there's no decency inherent to people, at all. But even this ignores the fact that acts of violence are as inherent to human nature as are acts of kindness.

Congratulations for getting the reference. (Amazing how it fits this thread so perfectly, doesn't it?) Now go and reward yourself with a monkey burger and some caribou eyes.

Although there are Good Samaritans and Saints, Humans as a species will kill ourselves off from our own ignorance and stupidity.

Perfect Quote IMO

Only when the last tree has died
and the last river been poisoned
and the last fish been caught
will we realize we cannot eat money

But really, there are some people here that watch too much ZP.

Good to see there are at least some people with a sense of perspective. Since when has it been reasonable to judge the shortcomings of the entire human race by the depraved actions of internet predators?

The victim was also human. We are also human. Why focus only on the negative when this sort of occurence is rare and shocking enough to actually warrant being on the news? Getting emo about "evil humanity" every time a thug does something which no-one else condones accomplishes nothing. Stop it, please.

Humans have the ability to be more noble then a Seraphim, or more wicked then a Demon. There are examples of both. The nice people who wrote the Bible were aware of that 2000 years before, and I think that someone was aware of that 20000 years before them.

It is in our nature, it is a integral part of us. It is what defines us a human being. Anything else, and you are no human no more.

well, this is human kind.....we are all born on the map of society....but we need to be given a moral compass from the first steps we take, hence why most of these toss pots have been brought up by toss pots

personally, those without any sort of right and wrong, like the miscretins your talking about, need round up in a ware house, all wired with explosives, and if anyone puts a fault out of line, they kill their equally moral lacking nieghbour.

the outcome is simple, they either be civil to each other.....or at the end of the day, you'll need a mop.....

We humans are a vile breed...yes I totally agree with that because the number of people who actually help out other people who are not that selfish...who actually think for their future and the future of others...their numbers are few...THAT IS WHY THIS WORLD WILL SEIZE TO EXCIST
