your 2 cents are ignorant. some people like consoles for the exclusive games, the more... social feel of an xbox or PS3.
The internet is hardly a social hub, a super information highway between peoples, and is not an awesome tool to manage large amounts of people into a single group. No way.
people dont have to be a simpleton to use a console. i think you should change your views, as you sound like an PC elitest ass, even though you have an xbox, which makes you a hipocritical elitest ass..
my 2 cents.
I owned the xbox before I owned a PC. So I'm not being hypocritical, if anything I have both sides of the matter thoroughly thought-out. It's just situationally ironic that I own both, and also prefer this shitty ass PC.
I NEVER said people HAVE to be a simpleton to own an xbox. I said that they desire simplicity in gaming. That does not say they're stupid, it says they'd rather not wasting their time with a computer, which is far more complicated in it's use and is also very maintenance heavy, and especially since you have to be very sure that your computer can run a game before you buy it, which involves a lot of research to make damn sure. And of course... there's the almost PC-exclusive DRM.
I am saying the computer is better in the vast amount of uses it has and how it has the ability to improve gameplay ten-fold (mods, customization, etc.) so there is more bang for your buck. Also computers were just as expensive and xbox 360s when they first came out if you simply wanted a gaming computer, assuming your not a mega-graphics whore

. Even today, you can buy the individual parts of a computer and be able to play every game on the market ATM. It would only cost approximately 350 dollars from my calculations, which included finding each part I am able to immediately buy off ebay and newegg etc.
And of course, I could list off the mass amounts of other uses a computer is capable of in entirety. But then I'd be writing a god damn 1,000 page book.
