Ummm, no.crepesack said:purchased! I hope THQ doesn't get burned but really, they aren't really losing any sales. The people who would have bought these games already bought them and those that weren't buying will only buy them now.
IMO, it's not that, it's a clearance sale and a last grab for whatever money they can get before it goes under.THQ is on the ropes. And this is as close to a "Please, customers, save us" as I've ever seen.
Your right on the first count and probably on the second as well.beastro said:Ummm, no.crepesack said:purchased! I hope THQ doesn't get burned but really, they aren't really losing any sales. Only game I have on the list is Metro. The rest I'm not exactly interested in, but for the $6 I gave them I'm happy I now have some more games to add to my "bored of everything else, let's try ____" list which is where most Humble Bundle games I buy go to.
None of those games, save Metro, I'd have paid anything more for individually.

The main reason why I bought the Bundle is for Armageddon because I finally saw a video of it's gameplay a couple weeks ago, and being 1/7th (or 1/5th if you group the CoH games together), it's worth paying $6 to mess around with its gravity gun, while the extra 40 cents for Saints Row made it worth paying above the average price even though I know I won't find it as amusing as the Second game in that series.Ed130 said:I already had everything bar Armageddon and the COH series but I got the bundle anyway, I doubt it'll change anything but at least I tried to help (somewhat).
You realize you just reaffirmed my point right?beastro said:Ummm, no.crepesack said:purchased! I hope THQ doesn't get burned but really, they aren't really losing any sales. The people who would have bought these games already bought them and those that weren't buying will only buy them now.

5 great AAA games and 2 expansions for one of them for the price of whatever? No, that's fucking terrible.
