Windows only again. Meh.

Why do I even get excited anymore when I see a new Humble Bundle?
Thats what you get for being one of the lesser races. Filthy mac and linux offal get what we feel generous enough to hand down to them and will like it! :p

Couple things, I am very disappointed with the people buying this bundle, I paid over the average back when it was 5.73 and the average has sunken massively since then. I know there are alot of people that give generously or at the very least like to meet the average, but that only means that there are so many scrubs paying the bare minimum just to get away with it that it makes me sad. I love the humble bundle and what they do on all sides of the coin<charity, promotion, spreading gaming culture to people that would not get them normally> and once again, I'm ashamed to be human.

Secondly, yes, they are steam only, these are AAA games, they are HUGE and humblebundle is humble, they can't afford to keep servers that upload these large files up at all times, I was glad that they hosted the soundtracks so it makes sense considering that they are offering steam codes anyways to let steam handle the load. The cross platforms thing is kinda sad but considering the scale of these games, making them cross-platform would be a expensive undertaking and denying a humble bundle because of that seems like it would be hurting the players more by denying it to everyone.

I like that a nonindy bundle showed up, while I doubt it was a sign of human compassion by a corporation its nice PR and a boost in sales while providing all the normal benefits of the bundle. Though titans quest being added is lame.... atleast put the expansion in with it.... I own both and the main game is almost unplayable without the expansion in my opinion.

A week back I paid $15, gave $13 to THQ and $1 to each charity. I kind of want those new bonuses over the one I got, Saints the third, because I already have Saints for the Xbox and my computer probably can't handle that game at all.
The new offer is retroactive; anyone who's already given money can get it. Check out your old order and you'll find new steam codes to redeem.

BUT YES THQ, YOU DID REAP WHAT YOU DONE SOW.

And yes, everything around you is indeed, crumblin' down.
Did they wrong you somehow? I can understand not liking their games, but jeez. Seems like you have an axe to grind. They may have made some bad business decisions, or some things just may not have worked in their favor, but now they're reaping what they sow? Like it's a kind of divine justice? If that's the case, what about EA or Activison? What do they deserve and why don't they reap what they sow?

They have made some decent games and don't treat their consumers like crap the way EA and Activision do. I dontated $30, $10 to each part. It's what I could afford and feel they deserve it.

Wow, this bundle just got even better. They just added the Game of the Year edition of Dawn of War to this, which is pretty much the best 40K game ever and really awesome RTS to boot. This might not be Indie, but it sure is Humble. Good show THQ.

Hey, the Dawn of War expansions need some love too . I think we'll be seeing the Stalker games next, hell maybe even some of Relic's older games like Impossible Creatures and Homeworld.

Thank you for everything (Stalker) and goodbye, THQ. :D

Whoever has anything against the humble bundles because of this awesome deal: you deserve all the indie royale bundles you get.

Well, it is the Gold edition, so you do get Winter Assault as well.

Seriously now, for measly 6 dollars or more, you're getting Company of heroes + two expansions, Metro 2033, Darksiders, Red Faction Armageddon + Path to War, Titan Quest, Saints Row the third and Dawn of War + Winter assault.

Can anyone seriously complain about that?

Upon contemplation I suppose my post was a whine-ish, but that wasn't my intent. Considering all of the Company of Heroes expansions are featured, I figured why not the rest of the expansions for Dawn of War? Dark Crusade is probably one of the best Warhammer 40,000 games, boosted by its wealth of mods that are big enough to be considered a stand-alone game. It strikes me as odd not to include them that's all. Although I suppose they can simply buy it, not like it's expensive anyway. In fact, having written this I now understand why they didn't include the rest of the expansions. It makes perfect sense! I need to give them more credit than they're getting >.>.

Just a heads up, I got an e-mail saying Dawn of War GOTY edition has been added as a bonus as well, same deal as Saints Row 3 etc

We have another sweet addition for your gaming library! Please welcome Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Game of the Year Edition to the Humble THQ Bundle!

This awesome real-time strategy game is available for Windows and requires Steam to play. If you?ve already purchased a bundle, you?ll find a Steam key already available for you for free on your download page. New purchasers can get Dawn of War by paying over the average price for their bundle.

EDIT: Looks like I was beaten to the mark lol

For all we know the final expansions for DoW could be added within the next 2 days. Wouldn't put it past them.

The sad thing is, I've ended up paying less than I normally would, because there isn't one game by itself that I'd actually go out of my way to play :(

Still it's nice to see THQ doing this, even if it's a desperation move. It brings a lot of brand value, if they can just stick it out until the next sequels are released

THQ is evil XD After my first post, I bought another bundle for the boyfriend. I had no interest in the bundle aside from Darksiders, and he had most of the games already. And then...it happened. I did the worst thing ever. I ran Saints Row before trying the other games. 36 Hours of gameplay in, probably about five migraines from laughing too hard, countless incidents involving stolen tanks running over things, and horribly painful hands cause I can't stop playing, and the BF caved and wanted it too. If you haven't gotten this bundle yet, and you have not played Saints Row 3, then get it. The bundle is worth it just for that game.

And then they had the absolute gall to add Dawn of War to the pack! Another game that I had absolutely no interest in, but now that I've gotten it, I'm sure I will waste many hours in multiplayer just because I am sure I will get hopelessly addicted to it!

Thanks, THQ. You took a bunch of games that, in looking at them, I had absolutely no interest in and turned me into a fangirl.

Ah no worries, just playing with the boyfriend. He knows enough to be gentle on me for the first ten minutes or so until I get impatient and toss a nuke at him (that's usually how our Civ V games end up, at least)

May I be the first to welcome you to the club :) I suggest you check out Company of Heroes as its a WW2 version of dawn of war with some great improvements to the formula and grab Saints Row 2 as its as good as its sequal. Well, once you've recovered from those 2 first lol

Tossed in $25. Hard to believe the average is less than $6. That's less than what I have to pay for a sandwich over here. Don't know when I'll come around to actually playing the games though.
