Eight fantastic games. The Humble Weekly Sale features a new deal every Thursday. Be sure to jump on this amazing offer before it?s gone! This week, pay what you want for Telltale?s hit games Back to the Future: The Game, Sam & Max: The Devil?s Playhouse, Poker Night at the Inventory, Wallace & Gromit?s Grand Adventures, Nelson Tethers: Puzzle Agent, Puzzle Agent 2, and Hector: Badge of Carnage. If you pay more than the average, you?ll also get The Walking Dead! This bundle also includes two soundtracks to fill your ears with sweet, sultry sounds.

Just picked it up. Easily one of the best Humble Bundles in recent memory imo, if only because of TWD.

At first I thought this was a post that was going to say 'Hey, wouldn't it be cool if TellTale made a Humble Bundle?' and I was just going to say that would never happen, TellTale is to high profile now. Jesus Christ I have never been this happy to be wrong. Thank God for charity!!!

Is someone rich enough to launch the average a tad bit higher, I would do the job but I'm broke and can't pay a twenty digit figure for that lovely stuff even if I find the games in this bundle AWESOME and think that telltale should be supported for actually making fun point and click games that almost nobody else dares to touch with a long stick with poo on the end.

to the point

four bucks is extremely cheap for all this greatness it wouldn't hurt if the average gets higher right?

So are there any millionaires on the escapist that can support this awesome awesomeness?

If everyone pays at or above the average to get all the games then the average will continuously increase over the course of the week.

Don't dismiss Sam & Max, Telltale really did a great job with that series and they only got better as time went on. Devil's Playhouse being probably the funniest, although without having played the previous two seasons a lot of the in-humour might be lost on you.

I'm not sure if the $4-something average means the vast majority of the people who bought this bundle are too poor to bring the average higher, or if it means that they do not consider point-and-click adventure games to be worth much.
The Walking Dead: Season 1 is $25 without discounts. Even 25% of that alone is over $6. It's considered Jim's GOTY, with good reason.

I almost feel like buying the bundle for $10 or so to bring up the average.

Eh...I'll pass. I love the Walking Dead, but I'm a little sore with TellTale right now. I downloaded Poker Night at the Inventory for Mac and...the thing doesn't fucking work. At all.

Unfortunately, I already own TWD. But I'll still happily pay $1 for the other games.

QFT here, they really got better as they went on, but I'm sure my favorite is still Abe Lincoln Must Die! from the first season. I would recommend that whoever gets The Devil's Playhouse, gets the first two seasons as well.

Shove off, Telltale Games! Look at you! Standing there so confident, cheese-eating grin plastered on your face. You think that just because you offer a bunch of REALLY good games for a reasonable price, you're going to get my money! Smarmy bastard! Who do you think you are?

...I mean, of COURSE I'm going to give you my money for a bunch of awesome games. Do I look like an idiot? I'll even give you better than the average, it's such a good deal. That ain't the point, man. Point is, do you have to be so absolutely smegging smug about it. It's a Humble Bundle. You're supposed to be humble, man. Not bouncing around like a git, cackling about how awesome you are.

I really expected better from you.

The Devil's playhouse is the third installment of TT's Sam&Max series. A curious thing not to include season 1 instead.

But not everyone will. There's probably loads of people who already own TWD, who won't shy away from forking out a single dollar for the other games.

I, for one, recommend people to pick up Back to the Future. It was a very enjoyable experience.
