Great could do without the internet for a while 
I'm not going to blindly go to a random website and run a service that could do anything to my computer just on the premise that my pc may have contracted the digital version of aids, should the problem crop up I'll wait for a sollution that is actualy proven to work from a legitimate source and hopefully it will be one that isnt going to archive pertinent personal information in a data warehouse to be sold on for profit at a later date.

Wow. My computer is normally a magnet for viruses of all kinds and I'm actually clean on this one. That's something of a miracle, it must be said.
I do't know, because of the whole 'we're gonna shutdown the internet!" thing they were saying...hitting the root DNS servers. This seems like an easier (and actually achievable) way of doing essentially the same thing, to the casual user.Bloodstain said:
