Hunger Games Movie: Eh..?

I loved the book, but now I am sort of scared that they want to make a movie of it... Also the fact that they want to make it PG-13, when it has many things in the book that would fit the R catagory...

Gary Ross is to direct but I have only seen two of his movies (pleasentville and Dave) which were both good, but I haven't seen the rest of his work.

Its screenplay by: Billy Ray which I have never seen any of his movies he wrote for. Though luckly Suzanne Collins (author) is also on screenplay.

Opinion's on those who read the book?

Isabelle Fuhrman is in it, and is playing Clove too! That is enough for me to want to see the movie.


I expect to movie to be good, I loved the book and the author is working with the crew so it shouldn't stray from the book. I haven't heard anything about the rating it is expected to get, but I really don't see how it could be less than 14a. I am sure the movie will turn out fine,
