PS1 game that was a dungeon crawler where you just have to keep going to deeper levels. There was a town where you could buy stuff out of the dungeon. I remember the equipment had a durability system and could break. Glass weapons were strong but broke easily.
Sounds like the quest mode of an old Square title named Ehrgeiz.

An SNES game, an RPG similar in gameplay to Secret of Mana (I think). It revolved around a young man, possibly even a kid trying to climb a huge tower to find his father who disappeared while trying to climb the same tower.

I have a vague memory of it being called "Dragon's Scale" or something like that but nothing comes up when I search any permutation of that, so I can't be sure of how much of that is real and how much is imagined.

I would have been in the 5 to 10 bracket when i would have played this, I am now 20 and have yet to find this game.

definetly not wasteland, from what I've seen, might be an old sierra game but when I went through their games listed on the wiki, none of them seemed to match up very well

Does it have to be a video game? Because there was this movie I watched as a kid and it was about this frog and he was like a secret agent and he was fighting this cobra lady I think?

Was it James Pond? I think I've heard of something like that before...

Nah, it was a movie, not a video game.

Mine isn't a game, it's a music video.

I made a thread about it a while back, but no responses...
It's a dance/club track from about 7ish years ago.
Starts with this chrome box, which slowly unfolds into a robot during the first 30secs-minute of the video. This robot then starts breakdancing.
The video finishes when it trips over it's own powercord during a spin and immediately folds back up into a box.

It was an online game, like a flash game or something.
The main character was a frog, and his name was something like 'Rick O'Shea'. The pun was obvious.
The aim of the game was to move your tank kind of thing side to side at the bottom of the level, and bounce bombs around obstacles to hit targets.
This isn't BattleToads is it?

Explanation. A while ago on the escapist someone, and I completely forget who, to my great shame, helped me find a game I had been looking for since I was about 7 years old, based on only a handful of incredibly vague clues (like, "err, it had ninjas, and a dragon, and there were dogs and stuff")(the game was Shadow Knights if you're curious).
I remember that thread.

I had that game as a kid and always referred to it as "Budo: The Art of Ninja Combat" which was an entirely different game altogether.

That thread brought a piece of my childhood back to me, and I must thank you for making it (again, if I already did. I really can't remember).

Did it have Monsters in it that you could find as Eggs, hatch them and then use them to battle other monsters in the same tower?

If so, thats Azure Dreams for the PSX/PS1. Never heard of a game that is exactly like that for the SNES, especially not one which is, aside from its plot, similar in playstyle to Secret of Mana..

I've got two, but they're not video games:

One of 'em's a song I heard a long time ago and really liked. I only know part of the lyrics, it goes something like "all signs around say move ahead, can someone please explain to me your effervescent (I think that's what they said) knack of speed". Can't find it anywhere. Help?

The other is actually narrowed down a little, from an old cartoon show called Ren and Stimpy. There's an episode where they fall down a (sewer?) hole and Ren freaks out. Then something above them moves and Ren says "Stimpy, listen! Someone out there likes us!". Then the hole closes and it's pitch black, with only their faces showing and really creepy sound effects/music in the background. This goes on for 8-9 minutes, presumably the whole episode. What episode is that?

If anyone can help me out with these two...I'd be eternally grateful. Help meh!

No, sorry that's not it, the game I'm thinking of had 16 bit 2d sprites, also it's like Secret of Mana in that the combat is real time, not turn based, and that you don't get locked into some sort of battle screen. It's probably not the most apt comparison, but it's the one that always stuck with me.

...Alright I can give it a try since I have dug through my whole SNES collection and not found it.

It was an rpg and the first part of the game you spent in some caves, it was very colourful you played as a lonely male hero... And that´s about all I can remember about it ._.
Shining in the darkness? Or fatal labyrinth. Trying to remember. I loved those games.

This is the EXACT plot of shining in the darkness. Its turn based though. But you described it perfectly.

Please please please help me find this game.
It is a sidescrolling shooter where you can play as a girl or a guy they have a bunch of different ammo and one of them are homing. I rememeher the dudes being big and blue and the girls being like rainbow colored.
It's for the psx.
If someone can tell me what it is, I'll come over and rub your shoulders in a non sexy way for a week. Kk thanks!

It's a stretch but the only thing that comes to mind is a very obscure title by the name of Brain Lord. Real time combat, quest for a lost father, and dragons are mentioned prominently in the storyline.

THAT'S IT!

I wasn't sure about it, until I looked at the wikipedia page and it mentioned the two sprites you have following you around, how did I forget them? Thanks so much, I'm going to have to track down a copy and bust out the old SNES.

Also thanks to A-D. and BiscuitTrouser for their suggestions.

Lords of the Realm 2?

It depends on how old it is. It could also be Stronghold 2 or Civilization or a number of other things.

I remember this demo my dad downloaded roughly three trillion years ago (okay, around 2000, I think) where you were in some futuristic city filled with robots, or androids, or something like that. I remember it had graphics circa 2000, but the memory reminds me of FPSCreator graphics, so it may be made in that, as well. I think the title had something to do with the word "Lazarus", and may have been "Project Lazarus", or something like that.

Or, very likely, it could be something my shitty memory manufactured and I'm talking about a game that doesn't exist.

Also, a Christian game that has you attacking "heretics" with different coloured swords: gold, brown(ish), and I think silver. Now I know that game exists.
