i don't think its blind faith, i think its magnified opinion.

Yahtzee said the game wasn't bad, its the spiral you get when like-minded people have no opposition that creates the opinion here on the escapist that Halo is the worst game ever made and its fans are all self driven, rote-speil-delivering... well... sheep.

Well tbh I've played HL, I haven't played Halo ::shocked gasps::. My experience of Halo is a load of XB fanboys screaming that the sun shines out of its earthly orifices (sp?), and so any blow against Chief could also be a blow against XB

On the flip side, it could also be a survival of the fittest thing. The first couple of people did damage because they disliked Chief, the rest did damage because it was burning time whilst they "buffed" thier favourite characters (freeman/link)
