The entire Fable series is infamous for that. But it sure as hell doesn't stop me from playing.
It's one of the only games I began playing when it first started out. All my other favorite series, I only come into HALFWAY in. Like Morrowind (TES3) and Fallout (3).

But I've seen Fable at its roots.

I didn't even know there was a sequel, need to look into it, even if it is really bad.

And it is disappointing when a game studio doesn't try to appeal to it's own fanbase if what you say is correct.

And it peeves me when people give Fable II the excuse "I only didn't like it because I listened to the hype"

I will say that I enjoyed Fable 2, it was just that I was expecting so much more, a better combat system, a world where I feel a the effects of all the decisions I made and ect ect...

Like i said, it isn't BAD so far. It's just worse than the great game that golden sun was. It's still good, but not compared to what it was. Also i didn't get very far, i still want to finish it but it's not as compelling as the last game.
