Not only is it a port, but it also adds two new playable characters: Tetra and King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule from The Wind Waker!

And it might be time to pick up the new 3DS, which I assume this is only playable on. With this and Xenoblade Chronicles tempting me I don't think I can hold out much longer. I am a little worried though that I didn't seem to see Ganon anywhere, nor beast Ganon. So here's hoping they didn't remove any characters or game modes.

I'll be annoyed if this is the case, but I don't think it is. Look at the 1:25 mark, where they show the box; it's got the traditional design, which is different from the Xenoblade box, which has a unique "New 3DS" logo [http://www.nintendo-insider.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/xenoblade-chronicles-3d-new-3ds-pack-shot-300x274.jpg].

If it's available on normal 3DS, I'll get it. Wasn't into it on Wii U, but for some reason it appeals to me more on handheld.

And suddenly I'm hyped for Nintendo's E3.

*gasp* You're right! I'm now really hoping this is the case. I would much prefer to just buy a game then have to buy a whole new handheld and a game.

There's been a bit of news, saying that the characters would be transferable to the wii u version. Likely will also end up as dlc.

Really wish we could more new games and I.Ps this generation instead of ports remakes and re-releases. Although to give Nintendo credit Code Name steam was pretty dope.

I played like 250 hours on the Wii U, but I may get it on 3DS too assuming it is compatible with the OG model. Tetra and the King of Red Lions being playable is fucking awesome, especially since they will transfer to the Wii U version as well. I've been waiting for a good 3DS game to play for on-the-fly gaming. Almost all of my 3DS games are hardcore RPGs XD

I think I'm good with the original, but this is great for anyone who wanted to try Hyrule Warriors without having a WiiU. I just hope Nintendo does not get into releasing the same game on both consoles and handhelds like the way Sony did with the Vita, we all know how well that worked out.

Also, Tetra apparently has a flintlock pistol!? I know she is a pirate, but that's so weird to see in a Zelda related game.

Warriors on the go AND on the 3DS?!Other than that, since I'm getting a Wii U soon, I'll probably still get the Wii U version instead... (Sorry, Tetra...)

I've been trying to decide between getting a Wii U or a 3DS and was just finally starting to settle on Wii U with this game and Bayonetta being the main draws. Now I have to think about it all over again, thanks Nintendo!

But seriously the decision is tearing me apart...

I was already set on getting a New 3DS (especially given that I never got around to getting any form of 3DS), but even more incentive to do so?

Oh why not ;) Playing as Tetra looks freaking awesome :D

I hope the new characters are added to the WiiU version
I'd buy this in a heartbeat if it had cross saved functionality but I don't wanna beat every level and unlock a bunch of weapons again, not to mention the Adventure maps I've already beaten. It took me a long time to do I don't wanna do it again

Cross save and this is a definite buy, especially since I haven't bought any of the DLC yet.. Screw having to do EVERYTHING over again.
