Anyway I'd go with something unique to your own life and maybe the dog itself.

and he's not really the bringer. the giants and the midgard snake are also in the battle.

I vaguely remembered the story from a Norse myth book I read In school. Thank you for correcting me however, still an awesome name in my humble opinion.
