I am Alpharius.

OT: I'm an agnostic atheist. That isn't really saying much though so more specifically a mix between an absurdist, a nihillist, and an existentialist. I might actually fall into one group entirely, but it's somewhat hard for me to tell. Mainly due to the fact that my overall view on life is still somewhat in flux at this point and I'm refining it daily. I would have to say that I'm currently more of an absurdist than the other two, at least right now.

At the last UK census 390,000 people put their religion down as "Jedi", thats nearly 1% of the population ^^

There is a new census this year so who knows, maybe we can top that.

I believe in nothing, except that we are an inconsequential speck of dust in the midst of the cruel hoover bag of the Universe.
Ah yes I've heard of this religion before... you're a hooverologist? You all live in fear of the great "emptying of the bag" right?

i'm very torn between whether i believe in omnipotent gods, whether they would be worthy of worship (given some concerns i have about lifes hardships) and whether or not i would challenge them if they do exist.

i do also firmly believe that ours is not the only dirtball in the universe with sentient life. and i believe that said sentient life could possibly be what we revere as gods due to higher natural abilities and or technology. in essence i like to think my cat if it were to theorize would consider me a god because i produce food, control light and water at a whim, and so on.

so i guess that makes me a very confused agnostic?

I am an eclecticist (probably not a word) what means I gather my beliefs from different sources on which I have founded my own theories.

But word games aside. I do not believe in god(s). I do however believe in energy in whatever form. Karma, Spirits perhaps ghosts are all things I consider.

I also believe in the potential of humanity. I don't know what this makes me but that's about it.

I'm a Haruhi-ist, but being a Jedi sounds pretty badass too. Well, there's no real strict rules to being a Haruhi-ist, so there's no reason why I can't be a Jedi too. Other than not being able to use the force that is.
Me too. I like the idea and it's fun to tell really religious people about it too. By the way, nice avatar. I liked Tomo better but to each their own.

HERETIC! Burn in the flames of the Emperor's holy light, foul slave of Chaos!

Despite what the above may indicate, I like to think of myself as a tolerant, progressive Protestant. For example, while I believe in the founding tenets of Christianity (such as salvation through Jesus), I don't believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible. I don't actively try to convert anyone to my faith, and I have no problem with what others may believe.

I'm "Spiritualish". I think god exists, he is omnipotent, true power comes from countering your problems, so omnipotence means he can change to be whatever he needs to be, and he created evolution in his image.

on less of a religion and more of a societ the turians from mass effect actually have a nice sounding social structure that i'd like. u can go read about it i ME1 in the datapad

its kinda like mixing conservative values and communism which is weird, but i actually think communism is great but humans r too shitty to pull it off properly

Main religion is Mormon though.
How do magnets work?

OT: I put myself down as Jedi on the census once
Although I don't follow a religion at all, I see that I follow my moral compass trying not to get to many points in the wrong direction.
Funny. I actually paid attention in science and I do know how magnets work. If you don't that's not my problem.

i'm sorta teetering between gnostic Christian, and atheist right now.
So you're an agnostic? (You don't know for sure whether there is a god or isn't)
