And it looks like a zombie game without the zombies, although I blame the constant overload of zombie fiction in the past few years, but I just can't help but think about zombies. Dammit. Gmeplay looks cool as well. I like it.

I heard is was XBLA if that's the case I hope its not another hydrophobia, if it's on console the graphics need a bit of a check up and hope for above average platforming.

Why is the dependent always a girl? Every single time? Are girls just more innocent, or something?

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate little girls or anything, but when will the protagonist have a son to care for? As the caretaker of a little boy myself, I would find a father/son survival game much more compelling then yet another father/daughter survival game.

You basically nailed it. In my opinion, anyway, little girls always come across as more innocent, and in need of protection. it might all so be the whole "Daddy's Girl/Momma's Boy" dilemma, if you follow me with that point.

I started to panic for a second.

It looked great but it kept showing him backing off from fights and running away. I expected it to be a survival game with no way to fight back. That made me panic.

Then it showed the hunter bit and he started hitting people in the face and I was happy.

Game looked good.

I had heard about I Am Alive awhile ago on one of the 'limbo' lists, but hadn't researched it. After watching this trailer, I gotta admit, that looks pretty cool.

I was startled to see that this game had not been scrapped somewhere along the way. I'm definitely still interested, but actually a little disappointed to see that it has more AssCreed involved in the gameplay than I originally thought.

The fact that it is being released only as a Downloadable title has me very nervous. Does this mean it's not going to be that long? Does it mean the gameplay isn't going to be as dynamic as the setting should demand? Previously I would have been willing to pre-order, but now suddenly I'm going to need reviews and the price ahead of time. Hell, I waited until Borderlands was $20, and that game is brilliant. Anything over $15 and I am unlikely to purchase I Am Alive now.

Looks like they took the original content, and threw out the gameplay not involving psychopaths and platforming, and then multiplied the remaining to fill it out. A bit disappointed, but that doesn't mean its necessarily a bad change. I'll still try it out. Survival NOT-horror? Count me in.

I'm excited for this. I was a little skeptical since it was portrayed as a survival game with parkour, but after seeing a few trailers and elaborations, I can't wait to play it.
